USB Type-C Dual 4K Universal Docking Station

Using with a laptop (Win 10 Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen2 AMD). Just plug and play on the first time without reading user guide. Using 3 external monitor(2x4K + 1HD) + laptop monitor 4K (total 4) using USB to VGA adapter for HD monitor.Pro:1. Come with its own power adapter and cables (but you will need more). I can place my laptop power adapter at my work. Some cheap dock needs laptop power adapter for its power.2. Have power switch on the adapter. This is actually useful since some devices forgot that it was plugged in so need a bit of switch on/off to reconnect with laptop. (not a docking/laptop problem. Device problem).3. USB-3 allow to use USB to VGA(or another HDMI) to use additional HD monitor.4. One high power USB for charging which also transfer data.5. USB-C, ethernet and audio in/out for better speaker.6. Kensington lock. Not using but good for public/work environment.Con.The audio out plug came slightly damaged but seem more like cosmetic. It works fine. After many re starts and formatting the hard drive on another computer it seems to be working. I was able to clone a hdd to a ssd right out of the box. I was happy. then I went to format some SATA hdds and the head aches started. Computer would not see the attached hdd even though it showed up in the device manager. The Achronis software would not see the attached hdd. Changed some settings, did some internet searching tried different hard drives slammed my head against the wall. Ended up quick formatting a HD in the computer, then I put it in the external drive bay. And Bingo all is well. Formatted a second HD in the computer box, and just like the first the external drive bay works like it is supposed to do.Not sure of the whats and whys but with no manual, no phone number to call for a slap to the back my head and a simple quick solution this Lay Flat Drive Bay has been a pain in my rear end. Yes it works but only after a long argument hence the 3 starts.

The product will hold either a 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive. I'm using it with a 2.5 inch SSD right now and it works flawlessly. It's easy to put together, and everything I needed was included in the box.

I own 3 of these docking station 2 since 2018 never had a problem with them well priced to.

Despite some negative reviews, I decided to try this one and it worked well for me. I placed this on a flat surface and slid in the drive. Everything connected and worked as I expected. I've used it off and on for several months and had no problems.

It saves my old HDD disks, and also many photos.

I wanted to save the stuff from my old computer and add it to my new laptop while being able to toss all the hardware that would otherwise take up space from my old computer. With this station, I was able to do just that. Of course, it's better served if you have the long-term use necessary to keep accessing the same docs on the same hard drive, otherwise it may feel a bit like a waste of money once you've essentially "one and done" - ed it, but being able to move my documents and programs between computers was well worth the cost.

Initially it was fine. But the ports for the SATA and the power are not particularly solid. About the fourth time I used it I pushed the disk into place and it just sort of came apart. It stopped working after that, of course. I've used a different kind of thing for this without any trouble, the kind that you set the disk into a slot vertically, and the kind that is just an adapter, with the SATA and the power port that goes straight to a cord with USB connector. It's possible I didn't have the connectors perfectly lined up and that stressed the connection, but I didn't push particularly hard, and it came away pretty easily. I will get a different one to replace this.

Worked great as temporary access to removed hard drive. The case provides easy access to change hard drive, so very good for temporary use. Nothing locks the drive in place, so not good for permanent use of removed hard drive, which was my intent.

I like it. I can add external hard disk to my computer. It can be well protected in side the nice box.

Worked great! My computer failed to start so I used this to repair the drive using another laptop! Perfect!

Easiest external hard drive setup ever. Removed old pc's hard drive and simply placed drive into case. Voila!

Worked as described. Removed hard drive from dead computer, put it in the Sabrent docking, connected to new computer, about 15 minutes total. Recovered files Easy process.

Almost lost all of my kids baby pictures on an old hard drive. This saved them all. Off to the cloud they go!!!

Great product. Did exactly what I needed it for. It even comes with a screwdriver to help remove extra framing around your internal hard disk. It worked perfectly to transfer data from an internal hard drive from a laptop that crashed and wouldn't power on. It has both a regular USB and a USB C connector.

The design is better than others that have the hard drive standing up. On the Sabrent, the hard drive lays down flat and is secure even when the device is moved. Also the hard drive is sealed closed with a cover, so there's no dust build-up if left in the device. On the down side, the ad indicated a free download of Acronis True Image which is what made me buy this particular item. However, there's no instructions or directions as to how to get the free download. I contacted Amazon who told me to contact the seller directly. It's been 5 days and I haven't heard back. So I guess I won't be receiving the free download. But if you want the Sabrent device, I highly recommend it (just forget about the free download offer--it's bogus!!).

I had been using several spare drives to backup critical files. But when the power source of my existing device failed I went looking for a replacement, found this enclosure that holds the drive in place a very good replacement and at a very good price point. I ordered it and was delivered the following day. Plugged my spare drive in and connected to my laptop and without an issue my laptop recognizes the drive and was able to perform my backups.Tried to register at the site for the extended warranty but the system failed to register me several times and their web site locked me out. I contacted support via email and they communicated the issue to the web developers and gladly registered my device once I forwarded them a copy of my purchase order. Very happy with my purchase and recommend if you use this method or have spare drives around to perform backups.

2 minutes after opening the box I was pulling data off the drive from my old dead computer. No fuss, no mess. Worked great!!
