Solution Make sure you install the drivers off of the included software mini disc before downloading and installing the driver updates below.

http://www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/asmedia/ASMedia_usb3_v1.14.8.0(www.station-drivers.com).exe

Note: Please be sure that you also have the power connected to the PCI-USB3 that's coming from your computers power supply.
