The DS-2BCR is stated as having SATA 3.0 Gb/s, USB 3.2 Gen2×2 (10Gbps) compatability.
Apple Macs do not support USB2x2 format but have Thunderbolt 4 that is backwards compatible with USB3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) and Gen2 (10Gbps)
Q. What USB-C Standard and speed will the DS-2BCR default to when connected to a Mac having a the above connection.

@Andrzej Jopek 10Gbps is actually USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 which this unit does support if the host machine's port can communicate at that speed, otherwise it will be USB Gen 1x1 or 5Gbps.
