@Temo You should be able to migrate files normally from Documents and similar without any problems.
I cloned a HDD(1TB) to an SSD(1TB) and the fourth blue LED never stopped blinking even after leaving it over night, 14 hours. I shut it off finally and removed both drives and then installed the S...
Thanks, yes that was my plan, to insert the usb-drive after the laptop is up and running, and not boot with it connected. Terje
@Temo After connecting the DS-UFNC unit to the computer, make sure you enter the BIOS/UEFI and check the boot order. Avoid booting to the external/SCSI enclosure/drive. Or, you can attach the enclo...
Hello So I bugth a DS-UFNC unit for bacing up my drives to a large HDD/NVME drive. This will be from current pc and older pc where I have removed som HDD. So I wounder if I insert any of the old H...
@franklynnphoto The internal PSU provides up to 135W of power with 15W of that going to USB, so 120W for the enclosure and drives.
Is the 24W you tested available per drive bay or for the entire enclosure? If it's per bay, would that mean 24W x 5 bays = 120W total? Could you confirm the consistent wattage available pe...
@franklynnphoto We've tested up to 24W+ for very large drives, so it should work. We have not specifically tested multi-actuator HDDs, however.
What is the maximum watt output per drive bay in the Sabrenet 5bay external 3.2 usb enclosure DS-SC5B. I have Seagate Mach2 hard disk drives that require more power than standard drives at 8 watts ...
@techiej75 Check the drive's health with CrysalDiskInfo, in addition to the Rocket Control Panel, and see if any issues are highlighted. We recommend backing up any data on the drive that is import...
I have a Asus Crosshair VIII X570 Wifi with a 5950X and 2x 2TB Rocket 4 Plus drive (C and D) running Windows 11 24H2. Today I noticed that my backups were much slower than ususal. Drive D is only...
@colin If it's hot-pluggable/hot-swappable it should be safe by design, although I can understand it's less than ideal.
I'm learning to live with it, as long as it's safe to plug in a drive while the bay's power is on. You can't tell any more as the indicator light is dark unless there's a drive in the bay.
@geraldonlineorders We do post general firmware updates, but for specific issues it's best to contact support directly.
@yuxuan liang We have taken feedback of the TB4 into consideration, which includes cooling.
@Sabrent thanks.
Are you saying there is a firwmare update available for the DS-UCTB array? this is something that boggles my mind how Sabrent doesn't have this posted on their website ?!!?!?!
@Sabrent Thunder bolt 4 kvm is a grate product with originality. I am happy to see the tb5 version. But could it less heat? :p
@Aqualung If/when we have anything to announce, you'll know! We are working with Intel for our TB5 product releases and want the smoothest launches possible.
