Raid1 + Trim/UASP for USB 3.0 Dual HDD SSD Docking Station [EC-HD2B]?

  Hello, 

  Does the Sabrent USB 3.0 Dual HDD SSD Docking Station [EC-HD2B] have UASP and TRIM enabled on its chipset? What chipset is it using? ASM1156?

  Also I want to use this for a 'software' RAID1 setup with a raspberry pi (using mdadm). Will it work for this purpose?

  @Fred A ASM1156, yes. As listed, it supports UASP, and with its firmware should support TRIM. It also supports software RAID with the appropriate setup; we tested with Storage Spaces.

  Tested today EC-HD2B, and TRIM is supported !
