I checkd my 2TB rocket 4 plus with Hard Disk Sentinel and found the health is 90% , why it was dropped like that ? I use it for Windows 11 system for about 3 years also using its custom cooler. Compared with my very old (6 years) nvme from intel that has health of 95%
@freedevme Three years is a long time. Most SSD warranties are only for five years. The health reading from SMART is usually based on writes, but this value may not be precise as host writes and NAND writes are not equivalent. Further, the warranty covered writes may be less than the endurance of the flash so this reading may overly aggressive in communicating drive health. 90% after 3 years is excellent.
