DS-UFNC cloning device question about cloning from a system M.2 drive to another of the same size

  • I have a Windows 10 C: drive (M.2 SSD) with the system installed, along with all associated files. I want to clone that drive to a new M.2 SSD of the same size and make. Not sure how to do that, as the device's instructions are not very detailed.

  • Do I need to format the new M.2 SSD drive first? If so, how do I do that without using my laptop, which has the M.2 SSD old drive in it, and using it to run the system

  • Funny you mention that, I had a similar headache when upgrading my storage and didn’t want to mess up my system either. While digging through guides I got distracted and ended up trying try AI answer generator to break the steps down clearly. At first I kept getting overly technical explanations that confused me more, but after refining my question it gave me a simple checklist I could follow without risking my old drive. It actually helped me understand the process before touching anything, which saved me from a careless mistake.
