Acronis True Image not recognising EC-DFLT

  About a year ago I bought a EC-DFLT to help recover a failed drive, which worked fine with R-Studio.

  I'm now trying to get the Acronis True Image to work but it fails to recognise the Sabrent drive & the suggested firmware update does not work.

  The drive appears ok in R-Studio / Disk Management & also CrystalDiskInfo.

  I've also tried using Disk Managment to format & mount a drive in the docking station, but copying files manually failed after a while, when the drive randomly disappeared after several minutes of use...

  Not sure what else to do!

  @Ivor Trueman The device has to be recognized in order for our OEM Acronis software to operate. I do see 'JMicon Generic' which might indicate a firmware update is required to restore that ID, which you should be able to acquire through technical support. If the HDD is healthy, and it appears to be, then the failure may additionally indicate the EC-DFLT and/or its power adapter is/are failing.
