Hello, I want to know about the compatibility of the " USB Type-A or Type-C to 5-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter [10/100/1000/2500/5000 Mbps" adapter, will it work with Andriod devices? I am using Augmented Reality headset called Magic Leap-2, will it be compatible with that?
@Hemant Kumar Magic Leap-2 Ethernet-to-USB adapter support is dependent on their software. You'd have to ask them about any specific chipset. Our USB-C to 5GbE adapter uses the Acquantia (Marvell) AQC111U for reference. Android is based on Linux and there are native drivers for this chipset in any newer kernel. We have Amazon users reporting that it worked on their phones but we cannot guarantee all devices and suggest you ask the manufacturer.
