  I have the back panel set to Raid 1 configuration.

  I downloaded the Sabrent Raid Assistant.

  It says

  @D P A dynamic disk is required for software RAID, as through Windows or the software, but this unit supports hardware RAID from the switch. You don't use the software assistant for this.
