I"ve tried formating the dirve and assigning it a drive letter
Tried deleting out the partition and inserting into DS-SC5B shows up as an "E" drive that isn't accessible, can't format.
Any help would be appreciated

@Mark Marquis See if DiskPart can help, but be very careful in using it.
Es una situación frustrante cuando un técnico instala un firmware incorrecto y pierdes funciones de hardware como el control RGB; lo ideal suele ser contactar directamente con el soporte oficial del fabricante para recuperar la versión de fábrica específica.
