What is the proper procedure for replacing a failed drive in the DS-2BCR under Raid 1 configuration? Do I need to move the good drive into a specific bay? Does the enclosure need to be powered off? Does any of this matter?
@deypanszaekhfcatfy Check my post (2nd) in this thread. It may be advantageous to backup the data before attempting to rebuild the RAID. How to rebuild depends on if the RAID is hardware or software and, otherwise, the "good" drive is taken to be the one in bay one after determining and removing the "bad" one. A replacement drive must match the original two drives.

Hey everyone! I found the discussion about replacing drives in the DS-2BCR really insightful. It got me thinking—when a RAID configuration fails, how often do we lose important files permanently? Also, has anyone tried syncing data with games like Slope game while managing server performance? Curious if there's a balance there!
