Dual Bay Cannot Copy RAID Drive – Need Help!

  • Hi everyone,

I just bought a Dual Bay dock (model EC-HD2B) to copy a RAID 5 drive (6TB) that is reporting SMART errors to a new 8TB drive (exFAT).

    My method:

Put the RAID 5 drive in slot 1

Put the new drive in slot 2

Start copying, the indicator light is flashing at 25%, I left it for 12 hours and it still didn't budge.

Try connecting the dock to the laptop:

The RAID drive won't mount (understandable)

    The new drive mounts normally.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a way to copy? Or do I need special software?

    Thanks everyone in advance!

  • How is everyone doing? I found this while browsing a forum for traders based in Liverpool. I had been having a terrible run with my manual trades and was looking for something to help me stay disciplined. The Quantum Ai Trading Investment Platform https://quantumaiinvestment.net turned out to be exactly what I needed. It has helped me turn a series of losses into a very profitable month. I am really happy with the outcome and the way the system operates on my behalf daily.
