I'm having an issue with my Rocket 4 drive where it will randomly disconnect from Windows when in use or when Windows go into sleep mode.
I wanted to install control panel to see what's going on there as it passes all other tests in Windows and my BIOS.
However, the Control Panel autocloses after a quick splash of "scanning drives" that never fills completely. I'm running it as an administrator.
@jffwarner0 I would check CrystalDiskInfo for drive health information but random disconnects could be a sign of early drive failure or some other hardware issue in the system.
@Sabrent No issues appear with CrystalDiskInfo. Same with the Windows error checker. My other SSDs have been fine in this slot as well.
@jffwarner0 I would contact support directly via our website and see if they have any firmware to offer outside of the control panel. The original Rocket 4 is an older drive, but you will have an opening for return at the place of purchase if it's recent or the drive may be under warranty if registered, if a return is needed. I would recommend backing up any important data on the drive if you haven't already.
