DS-4SSD not recognized in USB3.0 or USB2.0 (Windows 10)

  • Hi,

Just bought a new DS-4SSD dock but not recognized in USB3 or USB 2.
SSD seem to be recognized by the dock (LEDs light up according to the number of discs plugged) but absolutely nothing by W10.

    Same thing with other computer....

I precise that my USB ports in 3.0 or 2.0 function well with other device.

    Disapointed....

    Thanks for your help.

  • @Thierry ... See if the drive is listed in Disk Management or Storage Spaces. The dock itself should also show up as a device in Device Manager.

  • Drive and dock not listed in Disk management or storage spaces.

No traditional pop-up when I plug in usb 2 or usb 3 (the pop-up that say "new device detected".

Absolutely no reaction from my cimputer under W10 and on other computer under W11 (of course, I confirm that my USB ports are ok with other device)

  • @Thierry ... Make sure the power supply is connected from a tested outlet. If problems remain with device identification, contact the vendor or support for a refund/RMA.
