Got this mainly to keep up with the high demands of 8K recording on the Canon R5, and it's been great. Had to reformat once installed into the camera, and it was good to go. There is no lag, and the CFexpress card is zippy and quick. 1TB is enough for about 4.5 hrs of 8K 30 video recording FYI. Would recommend this to anyone looking for reliability, speed, and quality while creating content!
We got this to use with our carmera.I thought it was a regular SD card. That was completely my mistake. It actually does not fit in my camera so other than the build quality I can not say much more.It is a firm piece. The plastic casing is sturdy. The metal connection tines are all even.It feels about the same weight as a half dollar.I wish I had a camera that could use this disk.
I use this in my z6ii. It works fantastic. I have more space now then I'll need. The speed of the card is more than sufficient for my needs. It's a winner.
So sandisk has 119GB available for 128GB and this is 953GB for 1T. Thats roughly 93% vs 95% so off the bat it has better ratio of advertised vs actual. With all larger cards, I always assume the quality wont be as good, but I ran a speed test against the san disk pro and the performance is identical using a Canon R5. I was able to shoot 4K at 120 fps with no hiccups at all. Also transferred a file which was roughly the same size 2.3 GB vs 2.36 GB and the file transfer using both cards was proportionately identical. The card is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is format it and it's good to go. I must admit, the packaging seems super small, but the case it comes in, feels pretty solid. I was just shocked it was in my mailbox in an envelope instead of my front step.So far its been great and Ive been using it for macro slow motion video shoots. I will update this if I notice any performance issues compared to what I am used to but for the time being, there is nothing but good things to say about this given the capacity. Great deal relative to the amount of memory you get and its hard to find a brand that that makes a card this size that doesn't look suspicious.
CFexpress card comes with 1TB capacity, along with a metal case for storage. Card performs as advertised with lightening fast speeds. Pricey, but Sabrent produces quality products that I can count on to deliver, so its worth it.
