Warranty Policy

The warranty for your Sabrent product varies depending on product model. You may find the applicable warranty for your product via the product detail page, in your product documentation or by contacting our support team.

FAQ

This Warranty applies to new Sabrent products purchased from an authorized Sabrent reseller by the original purchaser for normal use and not for resale. Sabrent warrants that a covered product is free from defects in manufacturing, with the exceptions stated below.

Unregistered products typically carry a 1-year warranty, which with registration will be extended to a 2-, 3-, or 5-year warranty.

The product warranty does not cover damage resulting from commercial use, misuse, accident, modification or alteration to hardware or software, tampering, unsuitable physical or operating environment beyond product specifications, improper maintenance, or failure caused by a product for which Sabrent is not responsible. There is no warranty for loss of data—it is the user's responsibility to back up storage data to a separate, safe location. There is no warranty for a product with removed or altered identification labels. Sabrent is not responsible for returning a product that is not under warranty.

Sabrent will replace the product with a functionally equivalent replacement product, transportation prepaid. Sabrent may replace your product with a product that was previously used, repaired and tested to meet Sabrent’s specifications. You are responsible for the importation of the replacement product, if applicable. Sabrent will not return the original product; therefore, you are responsible for removing accessories and/or moving data to other media before returning. Data recovery is not covered under this limited warranty and is not part of the return process. Sabrent warrants that any replacement product is covered for the remainder of the original product warranty or 90 days, whichever is greater.
