I ordered this a year ago and still works
Works well, pretty tight fit when first using it but it get used to it, all connection runs smoothly!
Love it very useful!
Product was just as advertised! I was a little skeptical at first, but this product is fantastic I highly recommend getting it if you are on the fence about it! installation process was quick and a breeze! As seen by my picture my PS5 read 6544 MB/s which is well above Sony’s recommended speed. Note: Make sure your PS5 has the latest updates before installing to get the most speed possible! Shipping was the fastest I ever had (got same day delivery) Having the extra memory is a must for the PS5, would’ve loved to had gotten the 4TB but it costs more than the PS5 itself lol. All in all great product and I’m a very very happy customer!! Hope this review helps.
This met more than my expectations for my PS5. More save space excellent speed and you can't even tell it's an expansion not even the slightest bit of lag.
It was actually very easy to do. After installing in the PlayStation 5 , you have to reformat to use it . But definitely a great value
Very easy to install. Games transfer very fast on to it. It's definitely a game changer.change.. all Pun intended
Fácil de instalar y muy rapido!!!
Easy to install
I was hasty about which SSD to choose for my PS5. I watched a couple on youtube and came across a video for this one. I love it. It was a great price for the 2TB and very easy to install. Took me less than 5 minutes and would recommend this to friends. It transfers gams pretty fast and I have no complaints.
Been looking for a internal ssd for the PS5 and did some research on different types of ssd's and finally went with the Sabrent ssd. It's really easy to install you don't need to be tech savvy. Decided the 2tb was worth the extra money and more storage. So far its working good and the speed is also good.
Install went really quick. The heat sink is designed for a PS5. I have experienced no issues and the write speeds exceeded what I was expecting. I did several transfers of games which only took a few minutes at most despite it being close to 600gb. So far no issues at all.
easy to install, worth every penny
This was very easy to install and set up. Fast load times and my PS5’s fan seems to run a lot more quiet and less often since before using it. Moving previous game installs over takes only a few minutes. Highly recommend!
Even came with a screwdriver. Working good so far. Fast
Used as an extension to my ps5 storage! Very easy to set up! Took less than 5 mins to install including removing the ps5 face! Don't hesitate on this one!
I was apprehensive when I ordered this based on a number of reviews that says it clocks slower than recommended for PS5 and/or that I would need to plug it into a PC to update the firmware. After a bunch of research, I took the plunge anyway. Worked great. Not 7000+, for which I assume I would need to update the firmware, but the PS5 recognized it as being 6300+, which is plenty for my PS5 needs. The heat sink seems really good, and other more technical review sites that can image heat and get accurate readings seem to think that the heatsink is very effective. Will update if this thing dies too quickly or something, but the price compared to other similar ssd's with heat sinks, on top of this particular heat sink being explicitly designed for PS5, plus the ease of installation, and with the more-than-sufficient speed clocked by the PS5 all make this a 5-star buy so far.
Easy to install
Love this ssd. Loads games a bit faster than the stock one the ps5 comes with. I have enough memory for many games now. So just buy it, you will be very happy with your purchase.
I’m not one that ever cares about the packaging a product comes in, but i will say it was very neat and pretty. Installation was a snap once i got over the fear of yanking my console apart. My biggest complaint is that I’m running at almost 2,500 mb/s slower read/write speed than sabrent claims. I’ve heard from others that it needs to be updated via pc to reach it’s full potential or that possibly it just cant reach those speeds in the ps5 as opposed to a proper gaming pc. Either way i feel that’s something that the seller should note. Regardless I haven’t really noticed any difference at all. I was able to move almost 100GB from console to ssd in under 25 seconds so it’s certainly fast!
Bought it for the PS5. Easy install, super fast
This was very easy to install and worked perfectly after the first format. Speed is as advertised for the 1TB and the space is a true 1TB available.
If you are looking to expand the internal storage of your PS5, this is an excellent choice. In my opinion, Sabrent came out with the best setup, an m.2 NVE with a heatsink plate. Installing the m.2 is a no-brainer and only took about 5 minutes(I got distracted with the detail under the PS5 side plates). The data rate speeds of the m.2 from Sabrent are fast and as advertised. I got the 2TB version, which was only because the 4TB was out of my budget, but I would upgrade to the 4TB if the price came down.
Pretty hefty price tag but in the end it’s worth it. Easy to store and move games effortlessly.
Super easy installation even if you don't really know what you're doing. PS5 recognized it immediately and it works with no issues. Happy with my purchase.
It fits perfectly
The main reason I got this one was because not only did it already come with a heart sink, the heat sink served a dual purpose of also being the bay cover. Technically making it a more effective cooler than just a basic heat sink. The thing is I was stuck at a crossroads which the 1 TB version was not enough for all the games I intend to put on it but for the price of the 2 TB version, I could buy a 2nd PS5. Something to think about if you plan to put a lot of games on it.
Opening the package I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't skimp on the retail packaging. The drive comes in a metal folding case to keep it safe. The correct screwdriver you will need was actually included as well. It comes with simple instructions, and the entire install process is very easy. Performance-wise, it definitely loads games at least as fast as the built-in ps5 storage. I am pleased with my purchase and I have a better opinion of Sabrent than I had before buying this drive.
I have a PS5 and needed one for when I get more games and for the price paid this is a great value. This also runs the coolest out of the other M.2 Internal Drives. Plus, the fact that this is made specifically to match the PS5's read and write speeds makes this a no brainer to pick up.
The ssd is very easy and quick to install. The only issue I had was the screwdriver that it came with was to small and I had to get a different screwdriver, if it wasn't for that I would give this 5 stars.
This product is awesome. I still think the 4TB should be the price of the 2TB, but that's just me.
Nothing i dislike
