Unsure what these other users are putting their drives through, but after months the speeds stay consistent as advertised and still at 99% health. Either take this or the 980 pro when it goes on sale but end of the day, great long-term PCIe Gen4 drive.
Perfect to add 1T b to an PS5 easy to install then you move your game from the internal ssd to this one using cosole storage option and you got nearly 2Tb of space
I’m not one that ever cares about the packaging a product comes in, but i will say it was very neat and pretty. Installation was a snap once i got over the fear of yanking my console apart. My biggest complaint is that I’m running at almost 2,500 mb/s slower read/write speed than sabrent claims. I’ve heard from others that it needs to be updated via pc to reach it’s full potential or that possibly it just cant reach those speeds in the ps5 as opposed to a proper gaming pc. Either way i feel that’s something that the seller should note. Regardless I haven’t really noticed any difference at all. I was able to move almost 100GB from console to ssd in under 25 seconds so it’s certainly fast!
If you are looking to expand the internal storage of your PS5, this is an excellent choice. In my opinion, Sabrent came out with the best setup, an m.2 NVE with a heatsink plate. Installing the m.2 is a no-brainer and only took about 5 minutes(I got distracted with the detail under the PS5 side plates). The data rate speeds of the m.2 from Sabrent are fast and as advertised. I got the 2TB version, which was only because the 4TB was out of my budget, but I would upgrade to the 4TB if the price came down.
There should be a way to take off the aluminum part of the sabrent heatsink to have a fancy cover if you have one already
This is the best NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 SSD with a reasonable price compared to high brands like Samsung. I have not used the heat sink but it is compatible with the PS5 console as well. I have added two different benchmarks one before creating any file or folder and one after almost 50% used. I will post 6 months later review as well.
Best budget ssd with top tier r/w speed!
I needed an extra space for my new gaming laptop so I got just the 2TB version. Packaged well and came on time as described. Install was very easy only took me like half an hour from install to setting it up from an unallocated space to the permanent location of my files.
Un très beau ssd.Facile a l'installer.Dissipateur impeccable.
This is a great product.i was running low on storage on my ps5.the ps5 only allows 667 gb of free space which is really nothing.so I see the sabrent 2tb on sale for 329.99 and I heard nothing but good things on this item.got it in a day or 2 later and the installation process was a breeze.turn back on the ps5 asked to format it and their I go 2 tb now on my ps5,I couldn't be any happier.
Foncez... Conçu exprès pour la PS5... Couplé à un SSD m.2 crucial ..
Well For Starters I Love The Way It Came A Day Earlier Then Expected And I Also Love The Way It Was Packaged. I Splurged For The The 4TB And My Read And Write Speeds We’re Beyond Incredible I Highly Recommend If You Got The Coin For It Don’t Hesitate To Buy . It Was A Tad Bit Hard To Install (But That Was Because I’m A Over Thinker) In Reality The Installation Was Quick And Easy. And Now I Have Plenty Of Room For My PS4 And PS5 Games No More Delete And Re Downloading For Me. All In All This Is The Best Internal SSD Out There On Market And I You Definitely Get More Bang For Your Buck With Sabernt.❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥.
