Rocket XTRM-Q External SSD

He conseguido revivir un Mac que tenía disco interno convencional. Los he instalado con el sistema operativo MacOs Monterey y el otro disco con Time Machine (1TB cada uno) y ahora el Mac vuela. Va super rápido con la conexión Thunderbolt. Una maravilla. Estoy muy satisfecho de la compra. La única pega es que el precio es un poco elevado, pero vale la pena.

I like it is small, it is quite fast, not reaching the transfer speed written but probably it depends on other my configurations. It is heating a little but not hot. Easy to use. It was delivered with a protective cage from rubber plastic which is good. It is clearly very expensive but if it is robust is OK, this will be seen in future.

the perfect size. super fast speed. this is so much cheaper then buying the upgraded hard drive space on a new laptop. the only bad part is this is not backward compatible. Its thunderbolt 4 but will not work on old laptop though USB. most new laptops have usb-c or thunderbolt so this is future proof. a little pricy in general but still a cheaper option then upgrading hard drive space and this works with apply and windows.

Me ha gustado mucho este SSD. Me permite ejecutar perfectamente el sistema operativo de Mac desde el mismo disco duro con prácticamente la misma rapidez que el SSD interno.

I purchased this so I could clone a failing drive before it crashed and it worked perfectly. Will use in the future for backups. I used usb 3.0 and while not as fast as an internal drive, it was faster than I expected.

I was using Macrium Reflect software to try and clone hard drives with a single bay version of this device. For whatever reason one of my computers would fail every time. I got this and used the cloning feature built into the dual bay dock to clone the hard drive without using the software and it worked perfectly.I did upgrade from a 500gb hard drive to a 1tb hard drive and using the dock's cloning feature it only cloned that 500gb but I was able to go into disk manager and create an E: partition of another 500gb. Not ideal but I do have use of the entire 1tb of space.

Ich habe die SSD Extern an einen iMac angeschlossen (Thunderbolt 2) und auf der SSD MacOS installiert.Danach wurde 1TB grosses Backup per MIgrationsassisten eingespielt, was ca. 4 Stunden dauerte. Hierbei wurde die SSD tatsächlich sehr heiß. 70°C Aussentemperatur am Gehäuse war die Spitze. Dazwischen auch mal weniger. Ca. 65 °C. Ich habe nicht dauerhaft gemessen.Nachdem die Migration abgeschlossen war, habe ich die SSD über nacht abkühlen lassen.Jetzt wird sie im Betrieb nie mehr als Handwarm.Ich denke die Temperaturspitzen treten nur beim Schrieben großer Datenmengen auf.pro===Verarbeitung und Haptikkein unangenehmer plastikgeruchSchrieb/Leseleistung unter TB3 nah an den Spezifikationen des Herstellersneutral===ob das silikoncase wirklich bei stürzen schützt bezweifele iches schütze auf jeden fall das metall vor kratzern oder mackenTB3 kabel ist reativ kurz, für imac aussreichendnegativ======Temperaturspitzten bei hohem durchsatz

I used this to duplicate the regular hdd in my laptop. I copied it onto a new SSD of same size. Computer started up with no hesitation.

This thing is a must have for hobbyists and tech people in general. It makes mirroring drives, fixing windows, storage expansion, and everything else related, a god damn breeze. I love this thing. I've mirrored multiple drives so far and I've had no issues. Macrium reflect is an amazing software to pair with this dock. Don't sleep on this product.

I use this for vector graphics, map-making, data management and general productivity. I wouldn’t recommend this for those that create and then delete lots of very large files on a daily basis — like those who create and edit large video projects. But this is a very good choice for most other uses, applications and workflows.

I read a lot reviews before buying this. I have not tried a disk to disk clone, but it did work fine for recovering files from a drive that had become corrupted and would no longer boot. Not the fastest rig, but that could be my other computer, too. Good price. It works.

OSX TimeMachine backed up 600TB in around 30 minutes from a MacBookPro 16" with Thunderbolt cable supplied with this external drive. Copied 250TB of photos to the same disk in around 15 min using a simple copy / paste. So much faster than same backup using spinning disk external storage using the same connection & cable type, and faster than a brand new ITB SDXC card directly connected to my Mac.

Works right out of the box, looks cool, and even has a clear dust cover to keep the HDD slot clean when there’s no drive in it.

Used Acronis software with the Sabrent Docking Station with perfect results cloning 3 hard drives - (one from HD to SSD, and two to HD to HD. Flawless. Used the first hard drive bay on the Sabrent and a USB cable to connect to computer.Sabrent instruction manual print is fine but the diagram print is very hard to read. Have a magnifying glass handy if you plan to read all content.I didn't use the dual hard drive bays on the Sabrent and therefore have no comment on their functionality.Overall, I'm pleased with the Sabrent and would recommend it based upon my specific qualifications and user experience noted above.

Great product overall. The use of multiple HDDs on the dock and using USB-C makes for a great experience and fast transfers. Haven't used the built in clone feature.

Worked right out of the box. No setup. Just plugged it in.

As a portable USB drive, this is easy to setup and use. You can copy data to and from your pc or to and from one drive in the unit to another using Windows File Explorer.However, don't buy this if your intention is to replace a failing hard drive by using offline clone, then don't bother. This unit will hang... never completing the copy. Tried it 3 times (10+ hours each time) before giving up.Download UltimateBootCD.com and use ddrescue to copy a drive with errors. ddrescue identified bad sectors and skipped those. It allowed you to retry the bad sectors very easily. But ddrescue is not for novices. Most importantly, it completed the copy and gave me a report of the failed sectors.
