Hello, I've recently received my DS-4SSD.
I used it for a day where It initially detected my 2 full SSDs (2x 4TB). When I added 2 more SSDs (2x 4TB), it stopped detecting all of them, and would only "show" 1 at a time with windows. Partition manager/disk genius would "see" the drive, but report the partition as faulty. However, when booting one drive at a time, it shows the drive is normal. it will also sometimes show a 16TB drive (Which I don't have) or a drive split into partitions which there isn't any.
Windows Storage spaces isn't operating so isn't an issue. Thanks
We ran into almost identical stability bugs with multi-bay SSD enclosures while setting up high-volume logging nodes for our infrastructure. When handling transaction records alongside our high-risk acquiring solutions, drive drops or detection failures during heavy write cycles are a nightmare for data integrity. In our case, replacing the stock USB-C cable and disabling aggressive power-saving states in the OS controller settings ended up resolving the disconnects. Definitely check controller power management before sending the unit back.
