DS-5RSS auto start after power loss

  Hi

   

  I use a DS-5RSS docking station connected to my home server. I had a power failure yesterday, and when power was restored, I noticed that the docking station wouldn't start automatically. Is there any way to ensure that the docking station starts automatically after power loss?

  @bcw We recommend using an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to prevent this, if possible. Auto power-on can cause issues such as data corruption if there's intermittent power, which is why the docking station behaves in this manner.
