I have a 6 TB WD Black drive that is nearly full attached to a EC-DFLT. I used the most recent firmware update and now my computer will not recognize my drive anymore. DISKPART indicates that there is something there, but that it can't be recognized.
I need help.
@Bill You can rule out the enclosure by attaching the drive internally via SATA or by some other method. It's likely your data is still there and can be recovered even if this does not work. This may require software, like MiniTool's Data Recovery. If you have any spare drives you can test the EC-DFLT that way. You should contact support to get a replacement EC-DFLT if it is not operating correctly.
