No extended monitor mode using USB-CKDH with Macbook Pro

  • Hi,

I am using the USB-CKDH with a 2019 MacBook Pro, intel with AMD Radeon Pro 5500M and intel UHD 630 1536 MB on Ventura 13.4. My monitors are the ViewSonic 32 inch (VX3276 FHD) and a DELL 27 inch (U2720Q). The issue is that when connected to the KVM only the ViewSonic shows up in Displays in my Mac's system settings. Both monitors are showing my desktop in mirrored mode. I have tried Detecting displays, unplugging, sleeping, restarting, ext. How do I get this Mac to detect both displays while using the USB-CKDH in order to set them into extended mode.

Thanks in advance for the help.

  • @Mark Bosic Apologies for not getting back to you over the weekend. I have been informed that you can only have one extended monitor per port unless using Thunderbolt which can be chained, although in that case the TB display must be the last device in the chain.
