This adapter fits the Mac Pro's slide-out aluminum HDD caddies perfectly. The construction is quality aluminum and the fit is perfect but the finish is what you'd expect for a sub-10 dollar part. Great value.

Great little product here for slaving a drive onto any system, be it for resetting an admin password on a windows drive, recovering data, or simply adding or removing files from a repository of data. It really doesn't get any easier than this. Great quality always gives you a happy glow. With this product you will always know that this is a purchase, well worth your while.

As the header reads, the price is phenomenal, and so far it's working as intended. Time will tell and I'll definitely be updating this review if anything changes. If there's no update, know that these cables are definitely working as it did day one and your should grab a set.

I've been around computers for decades, but had never heard of Sabrent until recently. I thought it was one of those weirdly named low budget manufacturers. I WAS WRONG! These guys make EXCELLENT, top-quality products like this bracket (& a number of other things of theirs I've bought). This bracket is sturdy and PRECISION-MADE metal. The hard drive (not included) in my photos slid into place as though they'd been made for each other. NO warps, twists or misalignments. The finish is also a beautiful black.The only thing I can guess is that this company might be one of those deals where ex designers from a huge brand leave the parent company and set out to make the best accessories possible - better than OEM. These products are great quality and a great value.

The most difficult part of install was inside the Desk Top attaching to the mother board. Recommend inserting into an external device like a disk SSD drive before attaching in tight areas because the resistance is a bit high to fully engage and lock the SSD cable to connector.. Else, electrically, the cable handles high speed SSD 6MBPS data rates with no problems. Drs

My son asked for this for his computer. I can't really explain what it's for, but he's happy with it, and he's hard to please, so that's why I said it's a great cable.

Worked exactly as described and arrived quickly in perfect condition.I need these all the time and they are simple to use and come with software to clone your original hard disk.The only problem with these is that my co-workers borrow the adapters all the time and I find myself buying them again and again because they are always disappearing. I guess that is the best product review I can give. If they were not the best you can get, nobody would bother "borrowing" them from me and forgetting to return them.

Bought it for a laptop when I replaced its Hard Disk Drive with a Solid State Drive for better performance. The only problem was the SSD was only 128GB meanwhile the HDD was 2TB and there was not another SATA location to connect the HDD to. So, the HDD now runs on this adapter which works very well just make sure to plug it into a USB 3.1 not a 2.0 or 3.0 or else you may run into issues with the drive randomly disconnecting.

It is not just a simple cable. The confirmation blue light blinks to let you know data is being transferd. It works very well. Quality is very good. Thanks!

Used to connect an older 2.5 ssd to my ps5 externally and it works like a charm. Had to notice it doesn't say 3.5 hdd, that requires more power to use but that's okay. They make those seperatly too.

Sabrent 2.5” SSD & SATA Hard Drive to Desktop 3.5” SATA Bay Converter Mounting Kit (BK-PCBS). Probably the best 2.5" SSD to 3.5" adapter unit made. It's solid metal, with well drilled and tapped screw holes, engineered to allow max air flow around the soft and hard drives. If your old computer uses 3.5" drives and drive bays, and you're upgrading to SSD drives, this is a must. (I've bought about 8 units in the past two or three years.) No mounting screws were provided, though. If this is your first conversion try to buy the unit with mounting screws. Has a built in "handle" to allow pulling the unit out.

Yes, you can use this adapter in an HP Z800 and Z620.I'm leaving this review so that anyone with an HP Z800 or HP Z620 knows that I was able to successfully install a Seagate BarraCuda SSD with the SABRENT BK-PCBS and also the ‎Fenlink model FL1510.They "just fit." There is nothing special to do. It was so simple. They are made of some sort of heavy metal that really "feels" like steel to me. I replaced a 5" HDD with a 2.5" SSD using this adapter in an HP AIO. It works perfect and the connectors lines up correctly. Highly recommended.

For a normal PC this is fine but for a hotter server or PC the plastic gets a little soft and warps.

If you are putting a ssd in a iMac, there isn't a better adapter than this one. Just get it. Same for Mac Pro desktops. Just get this.
