Works perfect with Elektron Overhub

Replaced original 2.5A Sabrent Charger with uprated 4A Charger and now my iPad charges much better and does not put up :Not Charging" msg.

I only had reasons to LIKE this power supply: 1. WORKED right out of the box. 2. The USB hub I matched it to draws 4 amps - a lot - this supply had to feed four USB-3 ports, for Hi-speed Terrabyte hard drives, audio and video recorders, rechargeable appliances, as well as another 4-port hub - insane.

it works like a 5v 5a power supply should.Used it to power a usb hub which allowed it to power a thin dvd drive.

My old AMD 3+ MB has weak USB 3.0 ports they always cut on and off when anything requiring the slightest power is connected. This fit Sabrent Hub that is the same one currently selling on Amazon perfectly. I just tested 2 items that would not work before, a m-sata external enclosure and a dual antenna WIFI adapter. Both would constantly reset over and over before, they are now 100% stable...

A specialized unit for a powered Sabrent USB hub. I managed to lose mine and was glad I was able to find this on Amazon.It arrived promptly and in great condition. It's a good product, as long as you don't expect it to power anything else but a Sabrent hub.

Works to make the sabrent USB hub able to charge devices. The only negative is the extremely large wall plug.

Needed this product because my computer (macbook pro 15 inch 2015) could not support the 5 usbs that I needed to power. This solved mic issues with my scarlett audio interface and hard drive issues by supplying enough power for both. Totally recommend if you're using a sabrent USB hub.

I have several cheap USB 7-port 3.0 hubs under my desks to connect all my accessories. I was seeing unreliable communication and dropouts with a lot of devices connected, especially since I added a Razer Chroma-enabled wireless charging pad to the mix that draws its power from the USB port. This adapter handles the whole set of RGB peripherals with ease. It fit the generic USB hubs I had, but also came with an adapter to use with larger barrel jacks if needed.

I bought this to power a generic 7 port USB hub which had been dropping HDD connections randomly. Connections are now rock solid with this new adapter. It may cost a bit more but there is a US based company backing it up.The adapter I received is not the one pictured but instead more substantial brick about 3.5 in. long. I have owned a 4 port usb hub for my iMac for a couple of years. I just added a power supply to the hub so I could power my DVD player into the front usb hub as opposed to reaching around the back to plug into the computer.

I bought a Sabrent USB hub and found that I should have bought a powered USB hub. This is the power supply for that USB hub. Questions?

The product works as advertised. Would I purchase this product again, yes.

I was not aware I needed this plug to give power to the unit but now that I have it, it works great.

It’s an A/C power adapter. It works with the hub. Nothing else to say…

These came quickly and are working well. When users moved from in office to remote, we quickly needed additional power supplies for previous POE products. This company met our expectations well.

I use my iPad Pro as a second monitor but the USB port on my laptop was unable to supply enough power to the lightning port. It would work for a couple hours but as soon as the iPad dropped to 80% battery, it would start to draw more power and the laptop would freak out. Plugging the iPad into a Sabrent hub with this adapter solved the problem and I can now use the iPad all day.

La alternativa al PS-5V4a que subió de precio, inclusive tal vez ya esté descontinuado a la fecha de esta reseña, la diferencia solamente es el color evidentemente, lo ocupo para alimentar HUBS 3.0 Sabrent y claro que hay, notablemente más velocidad de transferencia al conectar por ejemplo discos duros que incluso, como observación, no se pueden conectar más de 2 discos en el Hub si no tiene este eliminador, lo encontré a un precio bastante accesible y contiene un adaptador para colocarlo a la entrada que requieras.

This provides the accurate amount of power for an Elektron Overhub. There are two models of Overhub, but for the one with white text (rather than red), this is the power adapter you want. Cord length is generous.
