I've got several Samsung T5 drives, and I love them, but this Rocket drive is just as fast and feels FAR more durable! It has a fantastic solid feel with very durable cables included. I would definitely buy another.
All though the first tiny little drive malfunctioned and failed the replacement I received not long ago works perfectly well. Good lucking, tiny and mighty.
Perfoermance is JUST FINE.
I don't understand all the bad reviews this product received. I think its FANTASTIC!It's super small, highly portable and no-fuss plug-and-play flawless operation. I own 6 SSD nano drives, and this outperforms them all. Literally, it's lightning fast. It copies 40GB of data in a minute or two, and performs flawlessly every time I use it.. They heavy duty build quality is fantastic, and if you get the one with the rubber number, it's even shock proof. I couldn't ask for more for $230.Don't be fooled into buying one of those $50 SSD Nano drives from china. They can't even copy 100Gb of data in under a WEEK without any errors. THIS dive works as advertised - flawlessly, every time. I haven't had ONE error, and the speed is AMAZING.Would I buy another? This was my FOURTH - and they all work great.
I've had this about a year, and it works - which is amazing considering the # of negative Sabrent SSD reviews I've read coupled with the face that I've had this attached to an RPI4 as NAS storage and it overheats so bad when the Pi fails to recognize it that I think it will melt right through the Pi case and start the house on fire. But it works fast and cool on an intel Mac. I have a rate it decently for that, but now I have to find a new NAS solution, either that, or pay more for home owners insurance.
Muy rápido , práctico y cómodo
It is worth the money!
Wow!! This is a Solid State Hard Drive. That means, no moving parts. It will last quite a long time.I keep backups of my backups. I have a regular style external hard drive that I keep everything on. But I wanted a Solid State Drive to back that one up. I did (sadly) buy a different brand before purchasing this one. Big mistake. Get this Sabrent Rocket Nano! You won't regret it.I do believe that this Sabrent Rocket Nano is the best SSD available. I liked this so much that I ordered 2 of them. I bought the first one in January. Then realized I needed a second one. Each of them are 1 TB. I am pretty sure that this comes in 2 TB. But I didn't need that much extra space. Until I did.Even 2 of these take up less space than 1 old fashioned external hard drive. They are great for travel, and take up minimal space in your bag. You can take your entire media library with you, if you want.I highly recommend the Sabrent Rocket Nano SSD.***Please note: I Did Not receive any discount for my review. I purchased this item at the listed price.***
It is easy to overheat, the transfer speed drops dramatically, and it dies quickly. Can't be recognized by PC after one month, used on MAC without even any prompt and response.
Using this as an additional back-up for my laptop, but able to use it for so much more, it's like a thumb drive on steroids! Just plug it in and it works. Very small for a 2TB drive and very durable and stylish. Highly recommended!
There was a 1TB Rocket Nano in 2TB packaging, too small for my needs!
It works very well and looks cute
It’s a portable hard drive that is fast and responsive
Great drive, however the included cable usb c to usb c is horrible. Super loose fitting you just bump it a little and it looses connection.I changed it out to this cable and seems to be fine now. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PRLJKJP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Great product. USBC to USBC. Fast transfer speeds. Bought as a Time Machine backup for a MacBook Air.
Must faster than disk based portable storage and well worth the price... especially when your order 1TB and get a unit labeled as such only to open the package and discover the actual SSD is 2TB!!
I travel quite a bit and I take almost 800GB of data that I have to sync up between the sites. I use a product that only copies what has changed because it takes a really long time otherwise. With a regular HDD, I get about 85 to 100MB/sec, but this little guy gets almost 900MB/sec with USB C, and even old USB3.0 gets 300MB/sec.Not only is it fast, but it's rugged as well. I have not dropped it (yet), but it's really well padded. I bought the UGREEN 3.15x3.15x1.57 hard case to carry it in, and it fits quite well. ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B471MVV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )There are no actual cases that come the exact size for it, but this one holds it quite securely.I don't know about longevity yet, but it has a fairly good warranty, and I really like the heavy weight of the drive. They probably could have made it lighter, but I think it's great at the weight it is.
Pretty good
Only gripe the cables it came with are very rigid, other than that it’s laser fast running all my games off it and VR library. On a laptop with no expandable storage beyond what it came with
This SSD is great. On a computer equipped with USB 3.1 Gen 2 / USB 3.2 Gen 2, this SSD nearly saturates the connection, writing at slightly over 1GB/s. The speed does drop off as remaining storage space decreases, but it makes an excellent drive for important programs, games, and on the go media. Overall very happy with this purchase.
Great ssd
Tiny form factor with an aluminum shell to help with the heat. If I am really chugging with this drive I could take the rubber off the drive to get some better cooling if I want .The usb-C connection on the drive seems the tiniest bit not totally snig but still feels very solid.Am happy on day 1. Will be loading up a windows to go setup on the drive to really put it through its paces. The faster speed test is using the usb-C adapter the "slower" speed test result is using my usb-3.0 port.
Love this little beast of a HDd works perfect with my iPad and MacBook Pro
I like the size and simplicity of it. Good thing I can use it to rek noobs on CoD. Also my cat doesn't try to fight or smooth talk it. This is good for humanity. Write speed is faster than the millennium falcon warp drive. This SSD is the best investment I have made in a while. For the Horde!
Great mini storage device, great price and great protection for the $
The first time I plugged the 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nano into my computer it kept throwing error messages about not being able to write to the drive. So, I did the typical remove/reseat/reboot and it still wouldn't work. Other external hard drives worked just fine on my computer.Eventually I got to the point where I could create a folder. I never could write to the drive consistently. I reformatted it a few times with different file structures, still wouldn't write. Eventually had to return it for a different one.I've since gotten the replacement and it works perfectly. Their return process was very easy and fast. I love this little drive. It allows me to run my backups quick, and conveniently carry it with me when I travel.
Have not had any issues with this device. Transfer speed is excellent. Size and durability were key for me so this is exactly what I needed. It is completely worth the cost for me.
