Quality memory. Register within 90 days for 5 Yr warranty

IMPORTANT: Registration at Sabrent website within 90 days of purchase extends warranty from 1 year (default) to 5 years, as of when I'm writing this review. Don't forget to register to massively extend your coverage (I've had memory from other vendors start to give errors after years of use that were RMA'ed).I have a Lenovo T480 laptop with 2 memory slots. It does top out at 2400 MT/s due to the laptop's chipset and CPU not overclocking memory, so the lower end of the JEDEC scale is what is important for me (see the CPU-Z export screenshot that shows all 15 JEDEC entries in the memory).I had no problem installing the memory and you'll see screenshot info of the timings I experienced in my particular laptop. I ran HCI memtest scan and had no problems with the kit. The writeup on Amazon talks about a copper heat spreader, which confused me at first, but it's really talking about the wrap-around label that has a copper film embedded in it. I'm not sure the label is a big influence on temperatures, but my laptop runs this 2x8GB / 16GB kit pretty gently anyways. These 8GB sticks are configured with 4 chips on each side of the SODIMM and are single rank (in my laptop that runs 1 dimm per channel). The current price of this kit of 2x8gb in the mid-$80 range is a bit steep for CL22 3200 MH/s. The memory market fluctuates and prices are currently down a bit from this point. I've enjoyed several Sabrent m.2 drives for years and believe they make quality products, but am not sure if their laptop memory is that premium.

Works really well. Level up any PC

I put this stick in a relatively laggy i5 mini PC running windows 11. Wow! Instant speed increase. It's no longer lagging and slow. It's as fast as my previous generation i7 laptop. I'm impressed. It's pricy though but it does the job well.

Works great, nice heatsinks

This is a solid kit of RAM. Has no problem running at the advertised speeds in XMP. Value could be better since similarly spec'd kits cost $10-20 less than this kit, but I suppose since those don't typically have heatsinks that is where the pricing for this kit comes from. All in all, I'm happy with this RAM and have not encountered any issues with it in either of the systems I tested it in.Would be a nice addition to a Mini PC that needs a RAM upgrade.

Easy to use, 16Gb, Matched pair

Super easy to use, Matched pair of ram, 16gb worked perfect in my windows machine. no issues, stable, and good pricing, comes with thin heat spreader.

Very good

This is an extremely good RAM module that is, nonetheless, overkill for my needs.I've only recently discovered Sabrent. I have experience with their SSDs and their recently released CFexpress memory cards, and I really rate the brand highly. In terms of build quality and attention to detail there aren't many brands I prefer. Sabrent products just feel high end. That said, while I'm over the moon to upgrade the 16GB of RAM in my primary laptop to a whopping 32GB - and I've already noticed the performance improvements while using Photoshop - I feel that I could have seen the same performance improvements at a lower price. You can get a 32GB 3200MHz module for something like $100 from some slightly less respected brands, the only noticeable difference being that they'll lack cooling as good as Sabrent's copper heat spreader, though I suspect this is only a gamechanger for those who regularly push their RAM to its limits. So yeah, if you really do need 32GB and you'll be testing its performance for hours each day I'd say this is a worthwhile purchase. I've no doubt that Sabrent's cooling technology will mean this module will last much longer than a cheaper option. If, however, you're a fairly light user and you just like adding high spec mods to your laptop without *really* needing them, you can probably get away with a cheaper option.

Excellent DRAM

The SABRENT Rocket 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz Memory Module model SB-DDR32 is excellent. I received it very well packaged as you can see in the attached pictures.I installed it in my DELL Latitude 14 and it worked without issues. My computer only supports DD4 2133MHz so unfortunately I will not be able to take full advantage of this DRAM 3200MHz speed. Even not using the full memory speed, the laptop performance now is incredible faster compared to its original 8GB DRAM. This memory deserves the 5 stars, I definitely recommend it 👌.

The heatsink makes it a little thicker, so look at spacing in your device before ordering.

With the current supply chain issues my daughter is trying to make it to the end of college with a five year old laptop. We have already replaced the battery, and we wanted to upgrade the memory so I got this. What I did not think about is that with the extra cooling the RAM is a little thicker (physically) than normal RAM and although the laptop has slots for DDR4 we physically could not get them both in without worrying about damage. The width is listed on this Amazon page currently as .016 inches, but clearly that is a mistake, I think the leading zero should not be there. This probably varies by laptop, ours was an Acer Aspire. So we ended up putting this in a micro computer (brand Beelink) which had 8GB orginally that we use as a media server. This upgrade made it faster at accessing the hard drive we have attached.

Nice dual rank memory sticks, but not the best bang for your buck...

These are dual rank sticks. Popped them in my mini PC, and everything is working fine. I like their packaging too because you can save the old ram in them. However, this isn't the best bang for your buck. I recently purchased 32GB (2 dual rank sticks) by Timetec for around $100. So unless you're a Sabrent fan, there are better deals out there. I'll go 4-Stars.

works on my ASUS GL552VW

Had an ASUS laptop with default 8*2GB RAM, and I went for an upgrade. I used the 32 GB in conjunction with the 16 GB RAM, both Sabrent. After the fact, my laptop has 48 GB RAM.At the time, the published maximum allowable ram on this laptop is 32 GB. Old computers ARE able to support these larger capacity RAM sticks. You don't get the best performance mixing different sizes like I did, and older laptops also cannot use the full speed of faster RAM sticks, BUT they'll still work as long as your motherboard takes DDR4 RAM. And you could always take them out and put them on a newer laptop down the line.

Dual channel instantly recognized 3200

Runs at 3200 with no problems in my Acer gaming laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515). With the matching set they were recognized and defaulted to 3200 without any work from me. Easy to install.I also particularly like the foam casing each individual stick comes in. If you were a tech who was keeping a stock of ram in your bag while doing repair calls or something, it would be perfect for that. I know that's a tiny thing that doesn't really matter, but it was a nice touch.I do wish it had a better CL rating but with basic gaming on a laptop with a 3050 Ti which is what I have, I doubt the CL rating has a gigantic difference. Mostly I just got a huge boost to overall performance since I went from one stick to two and that enabled dual channel. Unless you have a reason to really need the lowest CL possible then I wouldn't nitpick over it. Kind of weird to see Sabrent making ram but I'm happy with the performance I'm getting out of it.

High-quality RAM in great packaging

I'm really impressed with this RAM! I got it to max out my current laptop with the intention of moving it to a new one once I decide to upgrade. It installed easilty and runs flawlessly. I have absolutely no complaints at all about the quality of the RAM, both physically or in terms of function.Sabrent really impressed me with their packaging though. This is the most well-packaged RAM I've ever received. Each stick is in its own magnetically-closing package, nestled in a perfectly sized cutout of dense foam. I would have no concerns about shipping damage if ordering from this company again. This RAM is slightly pricier than other brands, but it is also fast, well-packaged, and very well constructed with a copper cooling sleeve. I'm really impressed with Sabrent, and I'll be looking to them for any RAM I need in the future.

A great option to increase a Mini PC performance

I'd been replacing computer tower with Mini PCs at home. Most of these Mini PCs came with a single stick of RAM, and an empty memory slot for upgrade. And as soon as I started live streaming video, I knew, a memory upgrade was necessary. So, I ordered this SABRENT Rocket DDR4 RAM and installed on a Mini PC, and the improvement in performance is substantial. I like that this memory sticks are compatible with most computers, and I also like the included copper heat spreader to keep the RAM cool.

Works for ROG Strix G731

I used the 16GB * 2 to upgrade my ROG Strix G731 Laptop. The installation is pretty easy as long as you are familiar with the RAM upgrade. If you are not, there are millions of videos online and you can always trust the user manual of your laptop. There is a limitation of the 2666 mhz on my bios and i'm still researching on if it is changeable.

Stylish and practical~ ✨

I should say that it's pretty hard to find a 32 gigabyte laptop nowadays at a cheap price, so buy this to upgrade your older and smellier laptops to act like the modern ones. And I can assure you that it is one of the easiest things to do and not too hard to install random access memory to your laptops as long as you have basic tool skills with screws. I really do love the styling in this. But if it had RGB flair...

Great

SABRENT Rocket 16GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz Memory Module for Laptop, Ultrabook, and Mini-PC (SB-DDR16)I had the pleasure of reviewing both the 8 GB and 16 GB variants of these SODIMM's and they all work perfectly for my mini-PC collection, providing a nice upgrade with no issues, drops in and cannot be easier than that. These modules are quick and highly compatible with the various laptop and PC's that I use. They are not the cheapest out there but they are certainly well made modules that justify the price.

Some impressive memory sticks

I needed to upgrade my new 2022 Dell XPS laptop with some higher speed memory. These sticks from Sabrent fit the bill perfectly with it's 3200MHz speed memory. Using these sticks I am getting the best memory speed possible with this laptop. The sticks have some little, I believe copper, covers that I guess help to dissipate the heat a bit. Now I don't really know if it's really doing anything as I wasn't have a big problem with thermal throttling before using the memory and I'm not having any of those heat issues after installing the new memory sticks. All in all I would say these are some high quality memory sticks and I would have no problem with recommending them.

Outstanding value and performance.

Reviewing: "SABRENT Rocket 16GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz Memory Module for Laptop, Ultrabook, and Mini-PC (SB-DDR16)"Note: I also ordered this in the 8GB size and this review encompasses both.I ordered this RAM to upgrade a couple of systems I have, one being an inexpensive bargain laptop that came with minimal 2x2GB RAM configuration, and the other being a mini-PC where I wanted to double the RAM from 2 x 8GB to 2 x 16GB. (Due to the small form-factor, the mini-PC takes laptop RAM).Installation was simple and the increase in performance is VERY noticeable. Both systems boot up faster and on the laptop there is almost no more lag time when opening programs or web scrolling. Video streams much smoother as well. The mini-PC is now lightning fast.I'm glad to see Sabrent making this kind of RAM now. I'm a big fan of their other products and have always had good experiences with them. Sabrent is a brand I have confidence in. I also think these are priced right. It's not the cheapest, but that's exactly the point. You get what you pay for. I believe this is good value for the price. I would absolutely recommend this RAM.

Another winner from Sabrent

I've had the opportunity to evaluate and own a quite a few Sabrent branded accessories for my editing setup, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. This memory DIMM is no different, after trying the 32GB version I wanted to also get this 16 in a laptop that could use a boost. This laptop motherboard only supported 2400Mhz clocked ram, so the DIMM did not perform at its full 3200mhz advertised speed, however the benchmarks clocked appropriately for that speed and the overall performance of the computer was improved, as intended.

No problems

I paired this with another 8GB stick of 3200MHz DDR4 from Kingston in a Dell Inspiron and it's working perfectly. I am really happy that Dell is not one of the Windows OEMs that limits third party RAM in the Bios like Lenovo and HP do on their laptops. It's working perfectly in dual-channel mode, even though the two sticks don't match in terms of the brand, but they are both CL22/3200MHz DDR4 SODIMM modules.

Works great in my Dell laptop

I put this in my older Dell laptop Intel 9th gen laptop with no issues. I've been using it for several weeks and I've had no blue screens or memory related issues. This memory fit with no issues at all and it meets all JEDEC standards.

Decent quality from Sabrent

I've owned some SSDs, networking and other PC products from Sabrent, but this was my first RAM stick from them. Overall I've been impressed with the brand, and these are no different. The performance was pretty solid, however the laptop I used it in did not like using XMP profiles (something to do with shared vram or something like that) so I kept it clocked at a more boring 2400Mhz. But, it performed perfectly and benchmarked appropriately for those speeds when checked. It's not particularly cheap for ram, but with prices going up on everything, I'd say these are good sticks if you can get it for a good relative price. The boost in available ram is noticeable for performance.

Dependable memory that keeps its cool

This 16GB SODIMM is a great upgrade for any laptop or mini-PC that uses DDR4 memory. It performs as well as other 3200MHz RAM modules, but Sabrent has paid extra attention to cooling the memory chips, which may translate into better long-term reliability. The cooling comes in the form of a wraparound copper-lined label, which provides extra surface area for heat dissipation. It’s a smart way to attach a heatsink to the RAM without adding significant bulk.Installation was a simple matter of snapping this SODIMM into the spare slot on my mini-PC's motherboard. The computer had no trouble recognizing the added RAM and put it to use immediately. To be sure, I ran a few memory diagnostics, and all tests passed without issue. The RAM comes programmed with the industry-standard DDR4-3200 latency timings of 22-22-22, but of course it also works fine at lower speeds. Sabrent provides a one-year warranty for the memory, which extends to five years if you register on their website within 90 days of purchase.Overall, this SODIMM has worked perfectly for me so far, and its copper heatsink/label should help keep the memory going in the long run. Some RAM manufacturers offer lifetime warranties, but Sabrent’s 5-year policy (after registration) is long enough to cover the useful lifespan of most computers. Recommended, 4.5 stars.

Laptop runs smoother for longer sessions before restarts

I installed this to my laptop and now computer runs smoother for longer between restarts. The extra memory allows me to run more program simultaneously and doesn't bog down my computer. It's been a month and have no issues with this memory module.
