Me ha gustado mucho este SSD. Me permite ejecutar perfectamente el sistema operativo de Mac desde el mismo disco duro con prácticamente la misma rapidez que el SSD interno.
レビューでは発熱するというものが多かったが、ごく普通の発熱でした。スピードもIntel Macとの組み合わせでは想定内の十分なスピードでした。気に入ったので１月の特売に合わせて、すぐに追加で大容量のものも購入しました。
Ich habe die SSD Extern an einen iMac angeschlossen (Thunderbolt 2) und auf der SSD MacOS installiert.Danach wurde 1TB grosses Backup per MIgrationsassisten eingespielt, was ca. 4 Stunden dauerte. Hierbei wurde die SSD tatsächlich sehr heiß. 70°C Aussentemperatur am Gehäuse war die Spitze. Dazwischen auch mal weniger. Ca. 65 °C. Ich habe nicht dauerhaft gemessen.Nachdem die Migration abgeschlossen war, habe ich die SSD über nacht abkühlen lassen.Jetzt wird sie im Betrieb nie mehr als Handwarm.Ich denke die Temperaturspitzen treten nur beim Schrieben großer Datenmengen auf.pro===Verarbeitung und Haptikkein unangenehmer plastikgeruchSchrieb/Leseleistung unter TB3 nah an den Spezifikationen des Herstellersneutral===ob das silikoncase wirklich bei stürzen schützt bezweifele iches schütze auf jeden fall das metall vor kratzern oder mackenTB3 kabel ist reativ kurz, für imac aussreichendnegativ======Temperaturspitzten bei hohem durchsatz
Fast and furious
I use this for vector graphics, map-making, data management and general productivity. I wouldn’t recommend this for those that create and then delete lots of very large files on a daily basis — like those who create and edit large video projects. But this is a very good choice for most other uses, applications and workflows.
OSX TimeMachine backed up 600TB in around 30 minutes from a MacBookPro 16" with Thunderbolt cable supplied with this external drive. Copied 250TB of photos to the same disk in around 15 min using a simple copy / paste. So much faster than same backup using spinning disk external storage using the same connection & cable type, and faster than a brand new ITB SDXC card directly connected to my Mac.

Blazing fast, very small and works at memory speed
The product came well packed. I used it with my iMac. It came with Thunderbolt cable, and also a Sabrent Shockproof Protector. The drive does becomes a bit warm, but so far, it has not given me any problem.Copying files to and from the drive is very smooth. Good buy indeed.
It's very fast, and it works (so far). But I'm a big techie who's owned plenty of drives, computers, camera gear, etc. and I've never seen a device run anywhere near this hot. You can quite literally burn yourself touching this. I don't have children or pets, but I'm concerned about the longevity of something like this. Fingers crossed.
I have had this product for almost a year now. While it is blazing my fast, it auto-ejects all the time. It really disrupts workflow and is really a nuisance when I’m writing music and it decides to eject. I would spare yourself the $400 (that is paid for the 2tb). I give it 2 stars because the guy I called in tech support was friendly and because it is faster than advertised, but otherwise it is almost unusable.
I bought a 2TB digital drive and quickly ran out of space. So needed a bigger drive. After looking around I found the Sabrent Rocket. What a machine! Tiny so it doesn't take up a lot of space, this drive is a real rocket.Fast, reliable, easy to set up and use, the Sabrent Rocket does it all. And the most differential between the 2TB drive I first purchased, and the Sabrent was $200. Think about that. $200 more for twice the space.My 2TB drive was a La Cie. I've bought a half dozen solid-state drives from LaCie and have always loved them. Given this was a different brand I was a bit hesitant at first. But once I installed it, I had zero hesitation. This is a great drive at a great price. Tough to beat.

i wanted an external hard drive i could use for the main operating system to replace the internal hard drive on my mac, don't need huge storage so this was plenty, works great
Great external drive and very compact BUT it does not come with a Thunderbolt 3 cable included, I had to buy it separately……….That’s a no go especially at that price point.The read and write speeds are incredible!! Around 2500 MB/s with a zip packed folder and over 313 GB in size - nice Sabrent!! 😎All in all I can definitely recommend this external NVME to professionals. I’m using it for all my libraries of Logic Pro Audio Units. EASTWEST Hollywood Orchestra for example is loading instantly with no lags or waiting time 🤙 Changing presets is also possible with those mindblowing speeds.
I have one of these drives for my Plex media.I have another one of these drives for my family videos and pictures.These drives are very fast, large capacity, and excellent build quality.You pay a lot to get these drives, but it really improved the performance on my Plex server. Highly recommended.

This is a great way to extend storage on an M1 Mac Mini - extremely fast and capable, and much cheaper than Apple's provided options.
Zum Kurzzeittest: Ich habe auf die Sabrent Rocket 16 TB mein Fotoarchiv mit über 8 TB schrittweise (nicht mehr als 500 GB je Schritt) geladen. Nach ca. 500 GB ist die Festplatte heiß und ich habe sie zur Abkühlung jeweils abgeschaltet. Einige Male wurde während des Transferierens der Daten die Verbindung zum Notebook unterbrochen. Das könnte aber auch am Notebook liegen. Ansonsten lief die Festplatte einwandfrei.Ich habe die Festplatte bei Amazon US gekauft und am 21. 10. 2021 erhalten. Das Netzteil hatte einen US-Stecker, sodaß ich mir ein neues Kabel besorgen musste. Man könnte aber auch einfach den Strecker austauschen.Unverständlich ist mir weshalb ein so teures Produkt in einem einfachen Sendungsumschlag versendet wurde. Dadurch war die Originalverpackung an einer Ecke beschädigt worden.Getestet habe ich die Sabrent Rocket 16 TB nur 1 Woche lang.Ich benutze diese Festplatte nur zum Archivieren von Fotos. Bis jetzt funktioniert sie und ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Works perfectly with Mac M1 Max with 16-core Neural Engine CPU.Upon plugging it into the Mac, the operating system immediately recognize that it was formatted for an old style computer (exFAT). (a Mac will work fine with Windows formated drives, but why would you want to?) I was immediately given the option by MacOS 12 to reformat and encrypt. This took about 20 seconds. I find the drive to be extremely fast. Others complained about heat, yes it does get a little warm but most/all of these larger solid-state drives will do that. The heat is nothing to be concerned about in my opinion.My MacBook Pro has 8TB of storage, but I compromised on using this external drive at 4TB due to cost considerations. Sadly, the ability to comment on a review has been removed. I really enjoyed the review comments it allowed me to make my reviewing better. It also allowed customers to help each other with technical problems.

Superb piece of kit fast very portable, also comes with a rubber cover. Needed it for storing my pictures off my apple system, impressive speed transfer. It’s not cheep but in my estimation well worth the money, oh works on my PC too.
The product seems durable and was received in a nice metal protective case. Signature upon delivery ensured I was the one receiving the product. The lighting cable that came with the order seems to be of high quality.
I received the product and it didn’t work. Before even testing it went on the company’s site to register it for the warranty … the site wasn’t working….. hhhmmm??? Returned the item!

4TB version using for Carbon Copy Cloner bootable back ups of 15" MacBook Pro. Works very well with no problems. First full copy (1.8TB) took fair amount of time, but all subsequent runs were very quick. No heat issues. Was £599 when bought; prices currently over £700 :-(
What is not to like about the device, great speed - when attached to Thunderbolt ports but still very good on USB C 3.2, doesn't get too hot and seems to move large files with no overheating. So far so good very pleased with the unit
Excellent product, exactly as described and lightening fast
Used as external SSD for 27inch iMac fitted with slower internal Fusion Drive. Choice of startup with Big Sur or Mojave with 12-15 seconds boot time. Not worth the bother of cracking the machine open to replace the slow HD SATA drive with a SATA SSD.
