  in your amazon store the description for DS-4BNE it is mention that other usb enclosure will work

  do you know which ones? or do i have to trial and error?

  also for the DS-4SSD can you make it usb C  i think it would benefit more from this and bring it up to present time where usb 3.1,3.2 and usb c is becoming the norm

  @Michael Plaskett We have updated the Amazon listing to show tested compatibility under the Product Description. This includes dimensions for ones not listed explicitly. As for the DS-4SSD, we are working on a 5-bay unit that should be USB-C, among other products.
