  Hello Sabrent

  I have the possible intention to buy this docking station available on Amazon:

  SABRENT USB Type C Dual 4K Universal Docking Station with USB C Power Delivery (DS-WSPD)

  But I have the following questions about its features:

  01: Does the docking station have an impact of performance because it works with USB-C and not with Thunderbolt?

  02: Is possible use 4/3 monitors at the same time? Such as:

  • 2 HDMI + 2 Display Port? 
  • 2 HDMI + 1 Display Port? 
  • 1 HDMI + 2 Display Port? 

  03: Is possible use 2 monitors at the same time? Such as:

  • 1 HDMI + 1 Display Port? 

  04: Does the docking station produce heat after many hrs of work? Especially working with 2 monitors at the same time

  Pls answer each question

  @Manuel Jordan This model is outdated as we have newer docking stations on the market for USB4, TB4, and TB5 soon if not already. Multiple monitor use depends on how display functionality is handled. If by software with DisplayLink, multiple monitors isn't a problem. With hardware and DP Alt Mode, the host computer must support MST for extended modes with 2+ monitors.
