I would love to have a simple SAS Docking Station like the EC-DFLT.
There are only a couple of options on the market that are pretty pricey from obscure brands.
SAS stuff is starting to come down in price because nvme is the new flagship for server stuff so I now have a lot of stuff in my homelab with SAS and I don't have a great way to quickly get a drive connected to my workstation.
@Ryan O'Donnell I'm not currently aware of any direct plans for SAS, but we do generally aim to support legacy products and are extending lines into the enterprise sector with U.2 adapters and drives. So, I'll pass this suggestion along.
@doodle jump You might look into used enterprise gear, older SAS docking station units often show up cheap on secondary markets. Another option is getting a SAS to USB adapter or SAS HBA card for your workstation; not as convenient as a dock, but more affordable and reliable.
