I am still waiting for new mac driver for "USB to 5gbe Adapter"
- it already disconnect in New MacOS.
- can't transfer file between other Mac. When I started to transfer file, the adapter will crash.
- need to "active and deactive" the USB adapter, to change back to REAL DHCP IP. It always changed to "
169.254.XXX.XXX/ 255.255.0.0", then this IP can not connect internet.
BUT i still waiting...new driver for MacOS to fix it
@Cloud K Our current 5GbE to USB adapter uses the Marvell AQtion AQC111U controller and the newest macOS driver for that from Marvell is 1.4.12, dated 02/07/2020. I do not know if this will be updated further, if you are already on this revision. It's possible the issue is not driver-related and may have to do with your networking with one possibility being the router's DHCP setup. Ensure that it is updated and configured properly, if possible.
