I'd like to understand what leads a company like Sabrent to distribute a firmware upgrade for the EC-DFLT that prevents the user from normally accessing the disk and the information stored there.
Sabrent knows the error exists but doesn't fix it. They simply suggest the user purchase software to access the disk, format it, and only then can they use the docking station normally.
I'd really like Sabrent to explain this firmware update and the complete lack of support for resolving the error they created.
