4-slot NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 x 16 adapter card

  Hello guys, I just bought a quad drive nvme ssd to pcie 4.0 x 16 card adapter, however the ssd only works in bay 1. Any ideas? Or is it a bad fish it! unit? I verified the ssds, and they all operate in bay 1, with issue Gigabyte z379 Motherboard
