IMPORTANT: Registration at Sabrent website within 90 days of purchase extends warranty from 1 year (default) to 5 years, as of when I'm writing this review. Don't forget to register to massively extend your coverage (I've had memory from other vendors start to give errors after years of use that were RMA'ed).I have a Lenovo T480 laptop with 2 memory slots. It does top out at 2400 MT/s due to the laptop's chipset and CPU not overclocking memory, so the lower end of the JEDEC scale is what is important for me (see the CPU-Z export screenshot that shows all 15 JEDEC entries in the memory).I had no problem installing the memory and you'll see screenshot info of the timings I experienced in my particular laptop. I ran HCI memtest scan and had no problems with the kit. The writeup on Amazon talks about a copper heat spreader, which confused me at first, but it's really talking about the wrap-around label that has a copper film embedded in it. I'm not sure the label is a big influence on temperatures, but my laptop runs this 2x8GB / 16GB kit pretty gently anyways. These 8GB sticks are configured with 4 chips on each side of the SODIMM and are single rank (in my laptop that runs 1 dimm per channel). The current price of this kit of 2x8gb in the mid-$80 range is a bit steep for CL22 3200 MH/s. The memory market fluctuates and prices are currently down a bit from this point. I've enjoyed several Sabrent m.2 drives for years and believe they make quality products, but am not sure if their laptop memory is that premium.
I put this stick in a relatively laggy i5 mini PC running windows 11. Wow! Instant speed increase. It's no longer lagging and slow. It's as fast as my previous generation i7 laptop. I'm impressed. It's pricy though but it does the job well.
This is a solid kit of RAM. Has no problem running at the advertised speeds in XMP. Value could be better since similarly spec'd kits cost $10-20 less than this kit, but I suppose since those don't typically have heatsinks that is where the pricing for this kit comes from. All in all, I'm happy with this RAM and have not encountered any issues with it in either of the systems I tested it in.Would be a nice addition to a Mini PC that needs a RAM upgrade.
Super easy to use, Matched pair of ram, 16gb worked perfect in my windows machine. no issues, stable, and good pricing, comes with thin heat spreader.
The SABRENT Rocket 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200MHz Memory Module model SB-DDR32 is excellent. I received it very well packaged as you can see in the attached pictures.I installed it in my DELL Latitude 14 and it worked without issues. My computer only supports DD4 2133MHz so unfortunately I will not be able to take full advantage of this DRAM 3200MHz speed. Even not using the full memory speed, the laptop performance now is incredible faster compared to its original 8GB DRAM. This memory deserves the 5 stars, I definitely recommend it 👌.
