This hub worked well in my 2021 M1 when plugging into another USB-C to USB-A hub. It is more convenient to plug in USB-A drives and devices for temporary use with this hub sitting on the stand below the monitor. Speeds seem to be good. I am annoyed by the very bright status light that stays on even when the Mac is sleeping. Construction quality is good. Cable is thick and sturdy. You could use a USB-A to USB-C cable (not included) if you want to plug this directly into a newer Mac. Fits the bill for me if you want to avoid a dangling dongle.
I haven't checked it for speed but the Hub seems to work as it should. Angled face makes for easy access to the ports. Great design in my opinion. Fit and finish are good and the non-slip base and weight help to prevent it from slipping around on the desk. The metal is much better than the normal cheap plastic stuff.
This thing is small yet quite functional with decent sound quality. I bought it for times when I need an extra sound card. This tiny little gem does the job. And oh, how do they get those external controls in such a small package?
I bought this for my work computer because the sound on it stopped working completely. I thought I'll buy this and see if it works. It works great. It's small enough to carry with me to school and to work and home. I keep it in my backpack with my laptop and then to work after school. I earbuds have good sound to begin with that came with my GS7 phone and I feel like this sound card makes the sound better. I'm going to use this all the time now even on my laptop which has a perfectly working sound card. I plugged it into my work computer and my laptop and the computer automatically downloads the drivers it needs to work and it works great. I like the volume buttons on the device itself. Great little product with a very affordable price. Would recommend to anyone looking for an external sound card on a budget. It does have an input for a mic as well, but I bought it to listen to music.

Este producto hace su función. Yo conecto todos mis dispositivos USB a mi PC através de el y todo va bien. El material de construcción no se vé muy resistente, pero si se trata con dulzura puede durar mucho. A mí me encanta.Lo recomiendo.

Exactly what is expected from an unpowered hub. Perfect for light duty devices that do not consume a lot of power, or as a split point for subsequent powered hubs, without consuming a lot of space, or adding a lot of weight.
I have purchased this hub to extend the USB connectivity on my laptop. Modern laptops are equipped with just a few this type of connectors in favor of USB-C type ones. I needed to connect more external devices to the laptop and this unit is a perfect fit to my needs.

I rated low on cable length only because there are no options. Description makes it clear that it comes with a short cable, no big deal, just sucks to have to buy a separate cable. Also 1 star for camera, but, hey Amazon, it's a USB hub! It has no camera, why would you ask that on a review? That's not really anything against the product, Amazon just needs to do a better job on their rating system. Works great and stays stable on my desk.
Works as expected. It has a little white LED that shines down on the desk. I wasn't expecting the white light, but I don't find it obtrusive. I'm using it to keep my YubiKey nano close by so I don't have to reach all the way to my desktop every time I want to authenticate.The cord isn't very long, so if you're placing it a few feet away from the computer, you'll need a USB extension cord. I knew this going into it, but just mentioning it as a reminder for others.

Nicely built, great for a simplistic sleek design. Does exactly what I need it for. As time goes by I am becoming more and more a fan of sabrent products as my gen. 4 name drives have been great too.
