Works beautifully switching two MBPs on one 5k Studio Display. It does get a bit warm, it's expensive, and it's a shame that the switch cable can't be extended, but there aren't many solutions that actually work, and this does. Has been in daily use here for 2 years.

Works beautifully with both thunderbolt and USB-C devices and hosts, and even with the Corning optical thunderbolt cable. The only issue that I have seen is that sometimes, devices can get a bit hung up if they are connected before power on, though a quick hotplug fixes that. Especially since there is not yet another thunderbolt KVM, let alone one with a built-in thunderbolt hub, it is more than acceptable.
