mSATA to USB 3.0/2.5-Inch SATA III Enclosure Adapter

I had an HP laptop with a slow as molasses 5400 rpm hard drive which took FOREVER!I had a prior tablet/laptop that died but I saved the mSATA SSD.It was very easy to put the SSD in and test it out and do cleanup with the USB. Popped it into the HP laptop and works great! Vastly improved performance now!

Although the larger Drive self aligns, the SSD's need an eyeball sometimes to properly seat and connect. It works as designed, working drives in either size. Note: it will only accommodate one drive at a time. The only drawback is one I have with most desktop electronics: Could they either add some ballast weight or an anti skip pad to the bottom. I'm sick and tired of these things scooting around as I'm trying to use them :-p

It works great using an old SATA drive as an external drive. I have yet to try using it to copy drives since I don't have an extra one to copy to.

I have a lot of old HDD that I wanted to restore files from and this worked with pretty ancient sata drives.

This Optiplex replaces a previous version in a small form. The performance is as though it was brand new. The only issue I had was getting software updates from Microsoft. You need a specific KB file to bring it far enough up to date to install proper usb drivers and for Microsoft update to operate. After I figured that out and got it completed it now is exactly as it should with ample memory and HD space to do everything I need. Shipping was faster than I expected too!

It works for Mac Monterey. All I need to know.

Computer died and had 4 hard drives in it. Used this to get files of hard drive. No problem. No install. Fast. Did what it was suppose to put of the box.

So simple. Connect to PC, slap old drives in and out to scan them and transfer. Nice.

As a PC technician it is usual to have to connect hard drives externally either to copy data or clone drives, this device facilitates this task without dealing with cables or opening equipment to make those connections. Fast and free delivered to Cali, Colombia, South America

Unlike what the instructions say, the drives can spin down automatically if not used for a while. When that happens, they may all spin back up at random times, bringing up their folder. Otherwise it's jbod all the way.

What else is there to say? Convenient switch in the back; fits two drives. Nice solid feel with rubber feet to prevent sliding.

Originally, I had ordered this, because the one that I already have, was not detecting any drives that were plugged into it. Little did I know that these attachments do not work with 3.5 mechanical drives. So ssds are going to be the only option for this. But, this one is going to be a lot more useful for future usage, since the cable this one came with is a lot longer than the one that I already have

Zero problems with mine. I just needed it to pull some old files off the hard drives that I've managed to accumulate over the years.

Works great, solid build. If you need to clone or transfer a sata drive this is definitely a great choice.

Quality of material is good and functions as deaigned. If you need a usb to external SSD functions this is the one to get.

I've probably purchased a total of 20 of these little cables so far. That's not because they've broken, I just use them a lot and LOVE THEM. I will not use another brand ever again.

I purchased the single unit. Comes with USB cable, power cable and the unit itself with a dust cover and you can store it in the same box it came in. Unit itself is very light but overall quality is good. Has on-off switch and activity light. Accepts both 3.5 and 2.5 hard drives.

Straight to the Point this is great with both MacBook and PC and I’ve also used it with my iPad Pro M1, I don’t like that the cable is so short I can’t remember for sure if they offer a longer cable, maybe at least one that’s twice as long would be nice, sometimes with the durability of the cable it doesn’t flex very well so when I’m sitting at a smaller table with my MacBook I have a hard time keeping it from flexing open and falling off the edge of the table, but still very good durable and useful and I’m not always sitting at small tables unless I’m at coffee shops, I have noticed that products with braided cables tend to be durable and less bouncy when you need them to stay still, it might be worth implementing.

Sadly, the onboard Cloning feature did Not work. But when I used it connected to my pc running Acronis 2019 software, both drives were detected and due to the excellent high data transfer rate, the cloning took very little time. If you're tired of connecting individual enclosures for each drive, this device is for you.
