This thing is small yet quite functional with decent sound quality. I bought it for times when I need an extra sound card. This tiny little gem does the job. And oh, how do they get those external controls in such a small package?
I bought this for my work computer because the sound on it stopped working completely. I thought I'll buy this and see if it works. It works great. It's small enough to carry with me to school and to work and home. I keep it in my backpack with my laptop and then to work after school. I earbuds have good sound to begin with that came with my GS7 phone and I feel like this sound card makes the sound better. I'm going to use this all the time now even on my laptop which has a perfectly working sound card. I plugged it into my work computer and my laptop and the computer automatically downloads the drivers it needs to work and it works great. I like the volume buttons on the device itself. Great little product with a very affordable price. Would recommend to anyone looking for an external sound card on a budget. It does have an input for a mic as well, but I bought it to listen to music.

It's not exactly small, but small enough and has been getting the job done (adding audio to server equipment) without any issues.
I got this to replace the standard headphone output from my desktop computer. The standard output had a lot of distracting noise and static between music cuts or whenever there were moments of quiet in the content. This does just what I wanted. No noise. I don't know about the mic input as I don't use that.
Just what I needed. Sound of my computer failed. Price was right.
First, I *don't* like having a huge dongle sticking out of any USB port, especially laptop. Upon reflection I would probably prefer the models with the short cord, so the adapter can sit on the table. If this is a problem for you, there are USB cord extenders.Having said that, I like that this has so much functionality. Having the external on-board controls is great. Great way to bypass a broken sound card. Great to use on other devices (gaming consoles, etc). I like the plug and play. Really fun and useful little device.I suggest plugging in your headphones (nice and tight) before plugging in the USB. Yes it is a stereo jack for anyone who wants to know.

I got this little converter so I could switch between the internal speakers of my iMac 5k and my big headphones (which always stay at my desk) without ever unplugging them. These do exactly what I wanted, have no loss in sound quality, and require no configuration.Side note, they're also matte plastic instead of glossy, which I really appreciate these days.Great value!

Doing recordings from my Macbook with this device works perfectly. The only reason I put 4 stars is because the cable that came with it didn't work (Short USB extension cable) One drawback that I didn't think about is that it's MONO not Stereo. But form my needs, it works.

its great device for what its used for, the only thing i had trouble with is trying to connect with ps4 front side , it will not work without usb cord that comes with it because of the grooves in the console. my opinion poor desisn on sony. the backside works perfect but the sound was a little lower than i was expecting using the cord. keep in mind anytime you apply external devices something can be altered, maybe it was my headset not totally for sure. hope this helps before using it on newer models in the future gaming ps4 xbox etc.
If your sound is borked, this is more than worth the <$10 you pay for it. It worked immediately out of the box on a laptop with Linux Mint 19.1, absolutely no effort required except opening the box and plugging it in and plugging my external speakers into it. Absolutely idiot-proof! It's a great, dirt cheap alternative to replacing the entire motherboard just for a dead sound card.

I had 2 nice microphones and rather then buy a USB mic I inserted the Sabrent adapter and plugged in 1 of the mics and started recording. Easy, affordable and easy. Nice Sabrent adapter.
