I got this for my asus chromebook which had a permanent home in my laptop bag before. I used the larger silicone insert and it fits perfectly. It looks really slick and modern on my desk and I am a huge fan of the aluminum aesthetic.
This fixes the audio/video sync problem experienced on Windows 10! This device can also give you a workaround solution for Stereo Mix recording if you don't have it on your device. Both solutions require this sound card and a cable for looping back.My Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video streams would always begin to lose sync between the audio and video, to the point where it was unwatchable unless I refreshed the page every 5 minutes. I tried everything to fix this, including messing with all kinds of configurations and drivers (im using Windows 10 on a 2013 Macbook Pro without Bootcamp). I decided to give this a try and it works flawlessly, but you need a way to loop back into the device (see picture). I set both the USB sound card speakers and mic as default devices, and then on the microphone click properties, "Listen" tab then set "Listen to this device" to playback on your default speakers (NOT the sound card). This will allow you to bypass the on board sound device. Now enjoy synced audio/video streams as well as Stereo Mix!And yes, this works because the microphone input also works as a line in input.
This thing is amazing! I paired it up with the neweer nw-700 and it sounds absolutely amazing with the help of the sound card! Very satisfied with the aluminum, great build quality!
This is great, the sound went out on my very old HP laptop. Was looking at buying a new laptop until I tried this usb sound adapter, and now I have sound once again.
Good price. Works with my PC with Windows 10. No drivers needed. Just had to go into settings and choose USB adapter for sound output. The onboard sound card was lousy. This sounds so much better with my powered external speakers. Thinking about ordering another for another PC. The USB adapter also comes with the appropriate USB cable that makes hooking it up to the PC easy.
Just as described. Better than having a laptop serviced for a busted input receptacle.
Quick and easy to use
Everything installed correctly, (Works better after adjusting levels, enhancements.) Headphone plug don't work if pushed all the way way home but must be backed out slightly to make good contact.
It works perfectly on my mac g4 cube and even works on my dell optiplex! I love it!
This is Plug and Play in Macbook 2015 running Big Sur. Mic and Speakers/headphones work fine, no issues.

Brauchte eine Soundausgabemöglichkeit über USB. Funktioniert einwandfrei, nachdem man in Windows den Ausgang ausgewählt hat. Zur Klangqualität mittels eines per Kabel angeschlossenen JBL-Lausprechers kann ich nicht viel sagen. Es genügt meinen Ansprüchen zur Wiedergabe von Videostreams aus dem Internet.Hinweis: Der benutzte PC ist fest verbaut und bietet nur USB Anschlüsse, Klinke ist leider nicht zugänglich.
At first I couldn't get it to work, but I hadn't pushed the microphone jack the whole way in: the last millimetre turned out to be crucial, but it took a stronger push to get it there - someone could easily think the device doesn't work and send it back in disappointment if they don't push it fully in.I also couldn't initially get sound out through the headphone socket until I found a sound menu to select the device and make it active, after which it worked fine. It doesn't seem possible on my machine to get sound out through this and the main headphone socket on the computer at the same time, but that's obviously dictated by the operating system and its drivers and is no fault of this device (and should be the same for any other make of device).I've also tested it by recording from the microphone (set up next to a radio) while playing a music file out through the headphone socket and it can handle that without either thing interfering with the other. The music came through to the headphones while the voice recorder recorded the voice speaking out of the radio.I bought this device to get microphone input because my machine has no microphone socket and refuses to work with any microphone plugged into the headphone socket, so this is a good fix for that, and the mute button on it is useful too, as are the other three buttons when using the headphone socket. (The volume buttons don't affect the recorded signal level, so there is only a mute for that.)The extension cable shown in the picture at the top (but not mentioned anywhere in the text) is indeed included in the pack, making it even better value for money than I'd expected.

I used this to support a mic as my pc produced a lot hissing noise with my mic. Thanks to this however the noise is minimal to non-existant. The mute mic button also works great. Sound quality is also good, however not as good as a dedicated dac of course!
Die Soundkarte ist wirklich günstig und gut verarbeitet (bzw. leicht zu verwenden - Die verbauten Knöpfe sind wirklich sehr hilfreich). ABER: Wie so oft: Die Mikrofon-Spannung / Plugin-Power Speise-Spannung liegt wie bei vielen anderen günstigen USB Soundkarten bei nur knapp 3V.Durch die niedrige Spannung bekommt man leider nur SEHR wenig Mikrofon-Pegel in das System (wurde mit zwei Mikrofonen getestet). Und dadurch muss digital viel zu viel verstärkt werden (die Tonqualität leidet dadurch massiv). Für ab und an mal einen Chat sicherlich zu gebrauchen - Oder wenn nur der Audio-Ausgang verwendet wird. Aber für höher qualitative Aufnahmen oder regelmäßige Chat-Sessions ist die Soundkarte leider nicht geeignet.

Me sorprendió el embalaje en general y que el cuerpo del componente es de metal, aunque no se caliente mucho por el uso que le doy , se agradecen esos detalles de calidad.En cuanto al sonido es correcto y al ser plug and play lo conecté y no tuve que hacer nada para que empezara a funcionar.

...ottima direi, poi con i Tasti quasi a sfioro e' controllabilissima la eventuale Cuffia-Microfono collegata, che si sente benissimo tutto (Mp3, Gsm, Skype, Wp, Mess, etc)… la mia ha anche un Usb per i Led, nessun problema… unico neo "forse", che si poteva farlo casomai un paio di millimetri piu' stretto, perche' mi occupa anche un altro Ingresso USB, ma pazienza sulla mia Bar c'e' né sono ben 7 di 3.0, sempre by Amazon!!!.
