Bought this as I wanted to try it on a car with a short-ish selfie stick extended to about 50cm or so and using my Insta360R camera.Whilst this is strong enough for me to trust it connecting the camera directly to the screw thread, I don't trust it not to fall off when used with a stick. Too much wobble and slip for my liking.Not the products fault, just plain physics and the wieght of the camera I guess

Attached to the top of a steel tower to film a sequence of assembly operations. So strong that I had difficulty in removing it. The next time I used thin foam between the base and the steel, worked fine.

Purchased for mounting my insta360 to car or metal surface for action filming. Rubber coating is good, but would be better if had a soft pelt so it wouldn't mark or potentially scratch car paint. Other uses are a stable stand, easy adjust top pivot, secured base when unattended recording and good quality construction with metal bearing ball. Will recommend.
