Bought this as I wanted to try it on a car with a short-ish selfie stick extended to about 50cm or so and using my Insta360R camera.Whilst this is strong enough for me to trust it connecting the camera directly to the screw thread, I don't trust it not to fall off when used with a stick. Too much wobble and slip for my liking.Not the products fault, just plain physics and the wieght of the camera I guess
A must buy for dual monitor use with a Dell Laptop! You do not need to drop $250 for a Dell docking station to rock multiple monitors at home. One monitor does not need to be directly connected to your Dell laptop. Downloading unauthorized drivers on your work laptop is likely prohibited--that laptop with the tiny screen is Company property. This item, two HDMI cables and two monitors and you are living the dream working from home.

Attached to the top of a steel tower to film a sequence of assembly operations. So strong that I had difficulty in removing it. The next time I used thin foam between the base and the steel, worked fine.

amazing cheap alternative to a dock station. obviously not a doc station so you cant plug everything in it, but it connects my two monitors to my laptop perfectly and its not a mirror view, i can use all three monitors for seperate sscreens
It works as advertised but if using on a MacBook pro trying to use 2 external screens it doesn’t work like that. It will have both screens mirror same imageZ
Purchased for mounting my insta360 to car or metal surface for action filming. Rubber coating is good, but would be better if had a soft pelt so it wouldn't mark or potentially scratch car paint. Other uses are a stable stand, easy adjust top pivot, secured base when unattended recording and good quality construction with metal bearing ball. Will recommend.
Powerful little suckers. Had a different brand before with a smaller base but these appear to be more solid than my old one. Oh yeah, who ever warned us about 2 sticking together? They are right a knife and a screw driver to separate. CAUTION. Mine was an accident. Drop both on a bed and clap!
easy to use
It's always a risk not knowing if cords like these are compatible with your computer. I have a Lenovo Legion laptop. I plugged in two external monitors and it worked immediately. The quality of this cord is good. Seems sturdy, not cheaply made.
Product works as advertised. One thing I definitely noticed is how sometimes it will make your screens split in half. To fix that, you just unplug the thunderbolt port from the PC and plug it back in.
Can not complain and works well
From the reviews and videos I have watched this is a great way to have 2 HDMI monitors working along with your laptop screen; total of 3 screens. However, Lenovo has apparently limited their Thunderbolt 3 port so you can only have 1 plugged into the Sabrent device and 1 plugged into the HDMI port on the t490s by providing a less powerful display port on some machines. This is completely on Lenovo and not Sabrent. I spoke with a Lenovo tech ad nauseam and we both came to the same conclusion. My laptop has a 1.2 display port, but you would need a 1.4 display port to run two external high resolution displays. This means buying a new laptop. Now, I have found that unlike other products I bought before the Sabrent splitter, you you can plug 1 external monitor into the Sabrent device and 1 external monitor into the on board HDMI port. This gives me both 2560 x 1080 on the external monitors (I have to 32" curved LGs with G-sync), and the standard resolution for the laptop screen at 1920 x 1080. I don't like it because it adds more points of potential failure, but will take what I can get for now. The $79 I spent for the Sabrent is still cheaper than a $250 to $300 docking station, if one existed to supply my needs, or buying a new laptop. I hope this helps anyone else struggling with their Lenovo t490s.
Awesome product. Works like a charm. Plugged in both my monitors and it detected them immediately in the correct resolution. I tried a regular USB adapter and it only supported the correct resolution on one monitor and everything was lagging on the other. No issues with this one at all.
Very Strong magnets and gets a good hold of the ball when you tighten it up keeping the camera on you desired position. I’ve been impressed so far and it’s a good price.
Habe die Zugkraft des Magneten etwas unterschätzt, hält Bombenfest! ... was ja eigentlich auch gut ist,aber das Teil wieder wo abzukriegen - da man den Magneten ja nicht trennen und somit deaktivieren kann -ist gar nicht so einfach... ohne die Oberfläche zu beschädigen!? Werde hier zukünftig wohl eine dünne Gummimatte oder so was dazwischen legen... mal schauen was sich hier am besten eignet...
Great pulling power on the magnet and in confident the device will do the job its meant for. Lost a star for me as the 'tightener' was spring loaded and loose. I took the device apart only to realise it is loose for a reason - to help you tighten it when it hits the base. (I swear this makes more sense when you have the product in hand). So I faffed around for ages and considered a return before realising the device is actually made as intended. My fault really but this was not clear at all.
I just go a Go-Pro and have a mount for my bike etc but this means you can get really smooth shots whilst driving. I am constantly swapping things about and have a bike rack and go from place to place but when I feel I need the car drive shot, its simple to set up, get your shot and then pack it down again. Very firm mount. I leave it on the inside of my car door which is metal so I always have it to hand.
Ordered 4 units and one of them comes with no screw thread.
Really surprised by how powerful this is - much safer than using a sucker to mount, say, an action camera.

This is all I needed to be able to use my laptop as a desktop and use these two monitors. Best of both worlds did not need a second graphic card, and If I need to do work remote my lap top travels with me.
Love it... after browsing around for a bit, looking at the various reviews , landed with this one.I got two 31.5" monitors. One dell & another HP. Use the Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 to Dual HDMI 2.0 Adapter to extend my laptop to these 2 monitors.No extra software, plug 'n' play I got another desktop connected via VGA to one of the monitors. Multiple times a day, i just close the monitor to cut the display & bring up the desptop via VGA. On turning back on the laptop, the Sabrent does it thing & display's back to the original ones.
Worked very well for awhile, sometimes screens would go red after it being in another device and removing/plugging the HDMI cables back in worked just fine. about a week ago the screens began to flicker, its probably a matter of time before I have to get a new one.
