Love it, worked well with my Linux mint build! I didn't have to install drivers.
Screws on back don't come out easily and 2 stripped on first one we ordered, on replacement the 2nd unit also had a screw that got stripped. Maybe my fault? But it's happened on 3 out of the 8 screws I've tried and so i still have not been able to install

On new Ryzen chips you get 24x gen 4 lanes total, 20x direct from the CPU at low latency and 4x to the Chipset which acts like a switch and provides 16x additional lanes at higher latency.M.2 slot 1 is almost always dedicated x4 CPU lanes, so if you want to use the full potential(however small) of the newer GPUs you run out of CPU lanes.I think many users were trying to use this in Pcie slots that already had their bandwidth spoken for, so make sure to read your motherboards manual about lane distribution.
I have tried another knock off/typical PCIE adapter and nothing like this one, I have a Ryzen 9 5900X paired with an Asus ROG Strix X570-E and I couldn't get the regular adapter to work with my board. I have two other M.2 SSDs and this was the 3rd one and since I ran out of slots this is a beautiful design and completely under-rated brand/design. I am glad for Amazon and being able to return the other adapter. My m.2 NVME gen4 from XPG S70 Blade is running at full speed.
Replaced my motherboard heat sink for m.2 with this one. While temps were ok with the other this product dropped my temps into the 30s. Very pleased with result, easy installation, and fit my product well.
