Very convenient. Can charge as well (powered usb slots).
Quality Hub with sturdy feel. On/Off buttons are great feature.
Likes:1. Solidly-built aluminum case. I have an older notebook hard drive in one right now, running a surface check. The case has gotten warm but not hot. That helps protect the drive.2. Very good USB3 cable, great length. I hate short cables, my desk is crowded and sometimes an external drive needs to sit a few feet away from my laptop.Dislike:Fitting the end of the case in with drive attached was a bit difficult. The little screwdrivers are cute, but I had to use a real screwdriver and press hard on the case end to get it to seat properly.Notes1. It's USB-A on both ends, not USB-C.2. It works fine with Linux. They need to update their description.3. Haven't tried their tech support. Registering for an account there wasn't as intuitive as it could be, but worth if for to extend the warranty.4. About storage. I'm using old notebook hard drives, 500GB. I presume if you can physically fit the notebook drive into the case, the case can handle any capacity drive.
