Great solution and a great product. Looks and fits as if it were designed as original equipment on your MAC
I've had two of these and as long as the humidity is below 88% or so, your good. When the humidity goes too high I get errors and have to shut down. I use them outside to connect my AstroPhotography mount, cameras, filter wheel, auto focuser ... to my Laptop Computer. I've ordered a non-powered usb hub, will see how that goes !!

Amazing item for dorm decor, so many things need USB ports like curtain light, microphone, ring light.
This definitely gets the job done, but not perfectly. The switches seem entirely superfluous IMO, and I was never able to get my USB DVD drive to connect properly via any of the ports. So OK, I plug that in directly. Not a huge deal.Clearer documentation on exactly what each port does and does not support would be beneficial.
