Works. I'm not the one for tech specs. My PC is stupid fast and I always have room for new games. No cables for SSD. Thanks Sabrent.
Nothing to dislike. This drive cut boot time from a minute or two, down to about 6 seconds.I use it for the O.S. and applications, and keep data separately, on hard drives.
So far so good. I actually bought two. Sabrent seems to be an up & coming brand on the m.2 landscape.
Use another brand. Fails intermittently. Sabrent tech support has it now and says it's fine and is sending it back despite multiple screenshots of it failing.
The only part of the installation that was questionable to me was whether I needed standoffs, I didn't, but it wasn't quickly apparent to me as my motherboard NVME port lifts the connection end up off the motherboard and the screw end is down to the motherboard so it is not level. On boot up, I went into the BIOS and saw the drive was recognized and after downloading the free Acronis cloning software the process was smooth and without incident. I was so amazed on my first reboot with this drive that I quickly went to check my drive C in explorer because my desktop and apps were as if it was still booting off my old drive. Seemless! Highly recommend upgrading with this product.
Really great bang for buck. I got their software that can clone another drive, I didn't know it would cover with that, and it was super nice. Upgraded from 500GB to 2TB and from 3rd gen to 4th gen.
Very easy to install. Best one that I could find with 2tb storage and 4th gen for the money.
Bought it for my son's laptop as 2nd drive.
Bought this to upgrade my HP laptop which came with a 250 GB SSD. Installation was easy and rebooting and formatting was easy.I'm no computer guru so I can't give you all kinds of specs on speed, temp, etc. All I know is my laptop seems to be a bit faster, runs cool, and I have 4X the storage that I had.
WORKS WITH PS5!!!!! Had it in there for about 3-4 months now
I've had the 1tb version of this before. Very happy with it.
Just one complain is cooling. If it is in use, can easily go to 62-64F and will start to work slow after, so it you need it for serious workload and you don't have separated cooling solution it is not a best choice. But if it is just to store some data that you not gonna use all the time with a lot read/writes - it is great

The heatsink was too big to use so it was not useful...so I hope it doesn't allow my system to over heat.....

Used to replace old SSD easy to install. Good size. Works great so far. One week old

Dropped in easy into my AMD motherboard (As if it wouldn't...M.2 rocks)- and instant firehose of data. Over four Gigabytes of data per second peak. More IO transactions per second than is sane. All in all a win. I build embedded Linux distributions and do Game Development, so I need beastly storage on a Beast Mode machine. This made that happen. There's a tier above, so that you know, that's nearly twice as fast...but that didn't make sense for the additional $250. Have a need for speed on storage...and kind of need a LOT of it? This is a for the win.YOU MUST HAVE PCIe Gen 4 or later for this to be of ANY value to you, though. If you don't have a latest and greatest motherboard with that support? Pick one of the less expensive offerings from Sabrent or a competitor. This will be a waste of funds spent if you don't have that.

Fast upgrade, fast speeds and even the cloning was fast!

Fast SSD has advertised, no hassles installing it. Got it fast and at a cheap price. No issues using it so far. Recommend it!!
Be aware that just because this is PCIe v4.0 it's not actually using that full capacity. Out of my three NVME's this is my slowest one. Plotting chia plots takes a good 2x longer on this drive than on my Samsung SSD 980 Pro. The drive is not faulty, it's just only rated at 4700/1800 read/write speeds. Had I been more aware of this I would have gotten another Samsung 980 Pro. But I can't fault the drive. Overall for normal usage the dollars-per-capacity is a great price point.
Advertised as 4.9GB/s Read and 3.5GB/s Write. This thing achieves almost 6GB/s read without cooling... just stop reading and add to cart.
Seems to work fine. Tests at about 4500MB/sec but speed drops off very significantly with smaller and smaller files. In fact below about 1MB file size is almost the same speed as PCI-e 3 devices. In real world use with Windows File Explorer the device operates at about 20% faster speed than the Sabrent PCI-e 3 devices.Probably not really worth the increased cost.
Sabrent 4TB Rocket M.2 SSD nVME drive. Great drive. I used the Acronis software to clone multiple M.2 SSD drives. It worked great and is very fast. The Acronis software is fast. I also bought the Sabrent external SSD Enclosure with Type C cable from Amazon that is tool free. Worked great.
This has been a great company to deal with and they stand behind their products. I had an issue with a Dell mobile precision 7750 and BSOD failures during SupportAssist diagnostics, but I was able to figure out a solution. It turns out that the RAID mode on the Dell Mobile Precision computers does not support 2TB SSDs, as confirmed by Dell. I was not able to determine if it is a hardware or driver issue.Everything started working reliably by going into the BIOS and switching from RAID to AHCI mode. You will need to reboot windows into safe mode to allow the drivers to reconfigure if the OS is installed.I verified this with all my SSD cards and the 2 Dell notebooks I have.
Todo excelente
The access speed is quite fast, including cost effective.
Sigo encantado con la marca, son productos muy buenos
VERY fast in new Z590 motherboard with PCIe 4 and Intel 11th Gen CPU.Recommended.
Bought the QLC (white) version as wasnt overly familiar with SSD technology. Fast read speeds but not write. Windows booted faster and was more responsive from my gen 3 M.2 SSD and even my 2.5" SSD (both of which are mid range). Confirmed on crystal bench.Don't waste your money, buy the TLC (black version) for the extra 20 quid. I've returned and done just that.
