I've really grown to love Sabrent tripods. They're really well made and durable. This one is very solid and the carbon fibre helps with the weight. Easy to recommend.
Over the years I have acquired several tripods and monopods ranging from inexpensive thin aluminum and plastic versions to high quality Manfrotto versions. This combines the light weight of the inexpensive tripods with the sturdiness of the Manfrotto tripods. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and adjustability. It provides a stable platform and the bubble levels are easy to read and use.The head is OK but not as good as Manfrotto, which can cost more by itself than this whole tripod and mount. The head has two locking knobs which seem redundant. I thought one would fix in one direction and the other in the other direction. The control knobs are good and have an almost fluid feel. The monopod is also OK and functional, but somewhat involved to separate and reinstall. This tripod does come with a set of hex keys that attach to the mount but expect to spend several minutes to change configurations.
This is a very good tripod, but heavier than anticipated. It is my third tripod. The first one was ancient, weighed a ton, and was built like a tank. In an effort to find something I was willing to carry around, I got a lightweight aluminum and plastic one. It is perfect for the amateur hobbyist I am. I saw this one, made of carbon fiber and thought it would be even more lightweight and portable. (The description used to say it included a detachable monopod, which also drew me in, but that is not the case and is not longer part of the description.) The tripod has carbon fiber legs but the upper portion with the ball joint, swivel neck and camera mount is all metal. Consequently the whole thing is a bit top heavy and it is overall heavier than my aluminum tripod. Don't get me wrong. It is a well built tripod, has built in levels, and lots of nice features, including rubber feet that can be screwed in to reveal spikes for outdoor shooting, or screwed out to hide the spikes for Indoor use. The legs retract or extend with the flip of two levers each and slide very easily, but lock tightly. The unit weighs 3lb 5oz, without the carry bag.Overall, it is a very well built tripod, has good features, but is not super lightweight.
We are a family of photographers with cameras ranging from pocket digitals to Hasselblads. Notwithstanding the wet film cameras, this tripod is a good all-around tripod with a standard 3/8" mount. It's good for beginners because it's easy to set up. Other mounts can be swapped out, including for a video camera, depending on your needs. It's lightweight enough that it can be carried easily and compactly in its own travel bag. Height ranges from just over 12" to about 54". It has the features that my family needs, particularly when we are traveling. Good for general photography and user friendly for beginners.
Es bastante estable, se puede usar como monopod y la bolsa de transporte es buena, se ve de muy buena calidad y sirve para tomar vistas panorámicas.
