I own msi gt70 recently I discovered that I had a problem with my sound card on both the built-in microphone and the microphone jack are having white noise in the background. I wasn't sure if this usb would solve the issue but yes it solved it. Now, whenever I talked on skype or any other video chat platform my voice is clear to other people.I didn't see any problem with the headphone jack it works perfectly. The product has an extension cord if your usb sockets are next to each other the device will block more than one, so you need to use the extension.

This works fine on my Dell laptop. I am using this for receiving and transmitting digital radio signals and so I am only concerned with a bandwidth between 200 and 2800 Hz. I have not tested it for other applications. (My Dell laptop refuses to recognize the mic input to its TRRS jack, which seems to be a known Dell issue. I tried a TRRS to 2xTRS splitter but that didn't work due to the Dell issue. An outboard USB sound card was the least expensive and easiest solution.) Also note: I've found in the past that internal laptop sound cards can be subject to a lot of noise from the other laptop internals, so an external sound card is often a good idea.
Great size and build quality. Small plug outlet. There is a light to indicate there is power to the unit, keep in mind if placing in a sleeping room.
This device doesn't appear to be a victim of planned obsolescence. All components inside were well soldered and mounted properly.

Plug and play.Using the pink input and a 3.5mm stereo audio cable, I can directly input the audio signal from my Fender Mustang Micro Amp and record my guitar to my phone's resident recording app. Sound quality is good. Also works for tuning my guitar with an app.

This product is heavier than I expected (not that I’m complaining because it isn’t an intrusive weight and I won’t be moving it around) and it feels solid and high quality. Charging speeds seem to be in-line with fast charging, but I haven’t sat down to do any in-depth testing.
