and it works great for Android Auto in the car. Android Auto can be very picky about which cables work - most inexpensive ones won't and most big brand names only come in longer lengths.This one does exactly what it is supposed to do.
Sabrent has always been a reliable brand. These cables appear to be heavy duty. Both file transfer and charging speeds are excellent
I wanted to use this cable to simplify the connection to an external hard drive, where today I use the USB cable and a USB to USB C adapter, so I could just use a single cable instead.The hard drive is not recognized when using this cable (but works on the same ports using the USB to USB C adapter - so both the computer and drive work) - I tried different USB C ports and flipping the cable, but could not get it to recognize the external hard drive.
They work thus far and are basically unbendable 😆 that’s a good thing.
Bought the shorter version and after testing it worked on my Pixel phone and my Samsung tablets.Charging and data was no problem.Cable is a bit stiff though but well made.
